Forum Clan vs. Forum Clan

So just before clan wars came out the game was getting a little boring for me. Push? No, I was a new th9. Farm? I was bored of endlessly hitting up collectors. Then came cw and as soon as our first war started, I was rehooked.

Unfortunately we lost our first war 75-74, with the other clan winning in the last minute.
Over the next few wars, we won some and lost some, then I went to our war clan. From there I realized that I was a pretty bad attacker. But back on topic, I went out to dinner just before a vanguards clan war started and I had meant to join for the war, but I forgot. After dinner I joined vanguards and found out who we were warring with... bDTP.

In the end bDTP beat vanguards(kudos to them), even though I was our clan cheerleader for that war as I wasnt in it. But it was a close war and it was so much fun. After that I have not been in a war with a forum clan and although wars are fun, they would be more fun against another forum clan.

Now onto my idea. I thought it would be cool if a lot of forum clans started searching for a war at the same time. This means that it is very possible that 2 forum clans would be matched. If clans would like to join this, I can make a list and set a date and time, but if not then thanks for reading.

That's kind of interesting, it'd be nice to know and maybe experiment with the notion that if two equal clans that know each other and were similar in ability and same clan war size, hitting search at once would create a likelihood of fighting against each other....

I feel like something that could be cool is a way to start a war by messaging the other clan and seeing if they accept, now i realize it wouldn't work to well (people spamming famous clans) but i think it could be fun if people didnt exploit it, but they always do

Lol, we were out gunned even without your monster base in the mix.

Unless you meant you would play with an smaller Alt account next time, then yeah :D Sorry to see you missed it though Bucky.

It was actually weird seeing a clan where pretty much every base was the same (tough) level. Normally there is a bigger gap from top to bottom.

OP - I like the idea and would be fully for it. Why don't you gather together a list of forum clans (go through the Clan sub-forum) and maybe PM the leaders to see which ones would be on board. When you know that try to find what time-zones they are in and work out a rough time when everyone should start searching for a battle.

Haha we could have "Standardized Forum CW War Start Time" and everyone would make sure to start wars that time of day.

Hah, that's actually common for us. They put us up against GULF KNIGHTS (#3 clan at that time) after our war. Apparently they thought: if iQuit can take on Lunar rising, it shouldn't have any trouble against a top 3 clan. Right? Right...? I mean, their weakest player only had lvl 35 heroes.. XD

Btw, I like the idea of forum clan vs forum clan. At least it'll be somewhat evenly matched and challenging.

Whoa, that's quite a leap. So have iQuit banned you from Clan Wars? Obviously the addition of your base puts you in a different league. :D

Would be a good idea and cause some interesting banter around here if more clans that know each other are paired.

Ok guys so since I got some pretty good feedback we can organize this. Does any of the more respected forumers here want to lead this or should I? Also if you would like to sign up list your clan name here and I will make a list. After the list is made we can choose a time and go from there

shouldnt this be moved to clan wars section. itd is kind of starting something of the same, they have a war schedule and have posted it for anyone wanting to try and match up with them. but move important clan war threads to the clan wars section, leave general for complaint threads about loot.

If you feel strongly about moving a thread then why not press the report button and inform a Mod?

No need to post these useless comments as the OPs can do nothing about moving them after posting and chances are the Mods dont read every single post/thread.

Make two forum clan for forumer only simple. My clan dont have forumer just me. So i suggest you to make forum clan so i can join

This is how ive seen it done from long time forumers so I thought this was the proper way. There was no ill intentions on my side, just thought a thread about clan wars would be better served in the clan wars section where it would not get pushed down to the bottom as fast. I still made contribution to the thread though by mentioning ITD doing something similar to this idea.
