Reporting players doesn't help!?!?

so has anyone ever reported a player because they have said some inappropriate things on global to only find out that nothing has happened to them and it has been a week or so since you have reported them? Why have a report button if nothing gets done? There are kids and young players on global that do not need to see some things that people post!! I reported one player because he said he wished my family die in a car bomb because I would not invite him and he still is active in his clan? How is this fair? I am EXTREMELY AGGRAVATED!!!!

7 or more people have to report, and that only bans them from global (for 24h), not the game
It is there for legal reasons

The report button only works in multiple people use it on one person. However, I do not know that number personally.

You can report them in-game to SC using the in-game feature "report an issue" if you had taken a screenshot or other kind of proof

The number needed is 7, unless that has recently changed.

It takes 7 people to ban a person. Also, it bans them from global chat, not the game

If it is such a problem just switch servers or go to clan chat... multiple ways of avoiding global chat.

Well thank u for informing me of this its just really sad that i have to watch my son play because he is too young to be on global by himself because im tired of people saying things that a nine year old shouldn't see!! I mean I understand but wow I sent in pictures of that one guys messages to me and still nothing I think if you have proof then it should count :( makes me not even want to play anymore

Are you talking about the report button in chat ? If that's the case you don't understand its utility.

The Report button is there to ban someone from the chat for 24h after 7 person report him/her. It's an automatic process and this is not reviewed by SC.

If someone makes threats, or have a really inappropriate behavior, you need to take screenshots and send it to SC via email for something to be done against them.

Yes one person said he wished my family would die in a car bomb because I would not invite him and I sent pictures to supercell on top of reporting the player and I see he is still playing the game! I think that was cause for termination in my boat!!
