Why Am I Getting My Butt Kicked?

I think I have the perfect base for my Town Hall Level 6. I am not missing any upgrades and the only the collectors are missing a level. And yet every time I wake up in the morning I find that I've lost a battle to the tune of 100k-200k of each resource. Why is this happening? Can anything be done to prevent it?

it is because you have way too much resource not to attack, just like honey to bees with lv 7 and lv 8

1. what the heck is your lab doing at such a prime location.. get your cc there and redesign accordingly. But if your clan is useless in donation, then even better, redesign your base with a proper segmented core, ignoring the cc.
2. lower your trophies
3. create some segmentation on your storages, instead of segmenting those defensive towers
4. best resource defender is a wizard tower, not a mortar.
5. if all else fail, clear off all your gold before you log off.

good job on your farming though, seems you are able to bounce back alright. but ya you probably just storing too much, anyone would attack you. upgrade to TH7 quick for more defenses or spend your gold faster

This and Junliang's responses are dead on the money. You have organised yur base to be easy to attack, so you're being hit. Separate your storages and lose the lab, it may look pretty but it aint helping. Put wiz towers in the centre to zap goblin swarms. But...no matter what you do, a high level army will swarm you, so get down to about 800 cups and see how you do.

So in that case, find the base design thread and start sorting through the last 20 pages or so post update to find a good TH7. there are a few.

Sir Junliang has sorted out most of the points I would have suggested.

its obivous that your base is far from perfect if your getting raided for those kinds of hits.
Take care to STUDY the replays of them getting your stores, which are all grouped so nicely in the juicy center like a becon of "get in and get it all". Its like a dinner bell, wait... an all you can eat Buffet. about 50-60 gobs could prolly clean that out pretty short order (especially if supported by the right mix of troops)

You do have a good start, but the Wizzys need to protect the stores, not the collectors and camps..
and Seperate enclosures for the stores..
speaking form experience, seperate the stores into at least two sets. I like 1G1E each in a compartment protected by a WT. or something in that vein...

Also, you seem to be hovering on the trophy level where most TH7s are.... Go down below or around 1k.... <_<

You are on the wrong side of the farming equation. Getting hit by TH7 and TH8. By all means, redesign your base. But it is still going to be crushed. TH6 with that much loot is super prime target. Drop your cups! You said you were maxed out, so just stop attacking until your TH is close to done.

Exactly, and if your clan is really useless, at least swap the lab with the air defense, you got hit by healers and dragons. So that might help a little.

Better, but Im sure you will find that your Gold/Elix is a bit exposed, and archers will take them from a distance.

Here is what I suggest you place priority to protect; Stores, Mortar, WT.. most of the rest can go outside.
I try to put my CC in the center, and the stores with in range of the radius, so if they start getting your stores your CC troops can lend a hand to your turrets in a pinch.

Hut needs no walls, Cannons and ArchyTwr can cover one another, but really dont need walls like Storages,WizzyTwr and Esp Mortar (dead zone) every other turret can protect itself at point blank range, so its not as necesary to make sure walls are on it.

Protect what you value most with the most portection and your strongest weapons. Position the rest/weaker turrets to assist with protecting the strong ones.

IMO, Stores need a WT, and be in range of a Mortar. (and maybe the CC too)
Mortar needs walls to protect dead zone. and coverage from AT or Cannon (or another Mortar)
play around, TH6 is tough spot, all you really get is the Healer and pink walls..

after I got my walls up I went to TH7 and started upgrading the new toys..and sum walls..Farming Bliss
it sucked at frist but after this weekend I wll have max 2-WT lvl4, and 3-Mortar lvl5. then Ill get finish my walls and other upgrades..
