Change Name in Clash Of Clans

At the beginning of the game, you give yourself an in-game name that you are known by. However the name I made when i started playing Clash (1 and a half years ago) is very embarrassing and I wish to change it.

Are super cell planning on implementing something in the game to change your name?

An idea could be that it costs 1 million gold to change your name : ) I would love to see this feature implemented into the game in the future updates?

What do you guys think? I personally love this idea and I am sure other people within the game have the same "problem" as myself.

they won't add this, at least not any time soon
They will change your IGN if is your full name, or if is offensive

People would surely find a way to take advantage of this if Supercell added this into the game. Doubt that they'll add it.

Although they could implement a feature when you view someones profile it shows you their previous names? This would solve the 'taking advantage' of the name changing feature

It would be your main name that is displayed to people on the game, maybe only elders, co-leaders and leaders could view your name to see (if you request to join a clan) this would make 'earning' an elder/ co-leader spot more valuable?

I think it would be a good idea to implement into the game, and allows you to see the persons name they had before :D

Hmmm, charging gems would be one way, although 5,000 is a little excessive? maybe 1,000 that's roughly £7? I think that'd be a fair deal. 5,000 gems would cost roughly £25, a little bit excessive just to change your name, it needs to be a reasonable price.

I agree, although if you implement it to the game only allowing you to change your name once, then it woouldn't be abused :)

Maybe a ban feature? To ban people from Joining if they're trolls, even if theyve changed their name.

When you press on his profile you can check previous nicknames.
