Although Clan is 'closed' IT IS NOT CLOSED

We are a soccer related clan and fans of our club Borussia Dortmund. Our clan 'BVB Südtribüne' is closed due to the problem that we've been affronted by other 'players' showing up, leaving some stupid comments and leaving instantly.

Although the Clan is set up on 'closed' with even very high trophies, these dumb players are still showing up and leave their bashing. As there are some younger players (10-12) in our clan and as there is no moderation in the clan-chat, this is not acceptable!

Our Clan has become the target of these 'attacks' over and over again, and will be closed in the long run as many members are not willing to fight against this anymore!

Please fix up the settings and make at least sure that a closed clan is closed! Even better: Expand the 'report feature' to the clan chats. At the moment, this appears to be a 'wild west'!

Your elders and co leaders can still invite people in
Demote everyone is the fast answer (if you are the leader)

Yes, I am the leader, but still the 'closed' feature does not work. And still our younger players are affronted by these very abusing comments. Although I am the leader and we have 3 co-leaders, we can't be online 24/7.

Closed is: still allow people in if you invite them (an elder and a co leader can do this)
If you want no one in, demote everyone to members so they can't invite people

This is the 'bug report' thread isn't it?

Our Clan is closed but new members still join - WITHOUT INVITATION!

That is what I was cimplaining about.

Your appreciated answers do refer to regular game features which are 100% clear.

Maybe I didn't read that, my apologies
with without invitation you mean that none of your co/elders invite them, how can you know that?

There's 3 options: Open, Invite only and Closed. When it's closed you aren't supposed to be able to invite somebody.

On-topic: One of your Co-Leaders might be changing the rules of your clan to "invite only" or "open" and as soon as someone has joined he will change it back to "closed". If your football team has another team as a nemesis, then maybe one of the other teams players has infiltrated your clan just to screw with you.

Hi,

You can invite someone no matter what the status of the clan. Closed means people can't apply. Invite only means people apply. Anyone can join is obvious. With all three of those you can be invited.

Nope...I double checked several times. The Clan should have been "closed" as it was set in the options menue. Still new payers came in and left their bashing. Then I not even closed it, I also raised min. Trophies to 3000. Result: Still visits from players, even with only 600 trophies. This also happend during midnight, when no other member of the clan was online. Also, I could not see a request like it is shown when someone wants to join. (and the options are set to 'invitation')

If you are invited you can join no matter what the clan status or requirements. An invite means you can join no matter what.
