Level 6 barracks-Legionnaire

-150-200 health
-50-75 shield health (separate from main health)
-60-85damage
-3000 Elixr training cost
-8 minute training time
5 housing space
10 movement speed (with shield) 17 (without shield)
Would be like a giant, moving slowly but with lower health and better attack, but after a certain amount of damage, possibly 60-85 the shield breaks, making it become a faster unit with less health (because he lost his shield). I'm thinking a roman-esque warrior.Has to have a spear though, nothing in the game has that.
Maybe too op? Help me out with this one, could be a good addition

When any multiple of 3 are placed together, they will form a shield wall, or a phalanx formation

I like the idea, and I have two improvments for this troop:
-First, his shield shoild give him a protection against archers towers, either he wouldn't receive any damage frop them or either the damages would bebdivided by 8 or something like that. When he would lose his shield he won't be protected, and his protection doesn't apply to the cannons, just the archer towers;
Also, his spear should give him the ability to attack the buildings that are JUST BEHIND the walls, he would have a range of 1.5 or so, which mean it can't attack a building which is behind a wall in diagonal.
These ideas would make him OP but we can change the stats so that it will be balanced. Without these features the legionnaire would be too similar to a giant, and would lack originality.

Thank you for the ideas, and I love the ranged attack with the spear. The archer tower defence is a good idea, because he would be a little too op if he was resistant to everything I guess. The health could come down some, but not the shield health.

I'm not sure about this idea, but maybe the legionnaire's protection against archer towers could only exist when this shield wall is formed.

About the troop being unlocked at casern level 6, wouldn't it be weird that 2 units are unlocked at level 6 ? Yet this kind of unit has to be unlocked quite quickly.

With it being unlocked at the same time as the balloon which is an air unit, I think that mitigates the fact that two are unlocked at the same time. The phalanx providing a buffer against archers is a spectacular idea though. I might add that into the unit stats.

There already is a lvl 6 barracks troop. Unless u r referring to the dark barracks in which case u need to specify that and the fact that it costs dark elixir. ...also, what the heck does shield health do!? Health virtually is shield!
