Offline time before becoming an available target.

It would be nice to have 5 minutes from the time you are disconnected to the time you can be attacked.

Example: Last night I was farming to get the last 200k out of 2.25m of elixir required to do research lvl 5 and I turn my screen off went to the bathroom came back ~1-2 min latter and I get the screen please wait 3:30 your village is under attack. and lost 230k Elixir/gold.
This is just 1 example in the past this has happened 3 times in 1 night.

It makes it really hard to reach high elixir goals 2 million + for my level since you have so much elixir already saved up you become a prime target. So the only way to save up is to never disconnect from server.

I feel that 5 min is a good time from the time you get disconnected until the time you can get attacked.
That leaves you enough time to Run to the bathroom, make a quick sandwich, Answer a quick email, Kiss and hug your partner so they do not feel left out, grab something out of the car , answer the food delivery guy and pay him etc...

I agree with the 5 Min time span from when you are disconnected. I just recently started saving up for level 6 archers. I went off for about 2 mins and my base was raided. I lost a total of 356 000 elixir and lots of gold and dark elixir which I was also saving at the time. Since I am only level 72 and I am in crystal 2 looking for good raids myself there are many players who take advantage of a weak base such as mine. This 5 Min time span would help save people a lot of resources,time and help keep players from getting frustrated and quitting or becoming less active

I 100% Agree with this Idea, i get that same problem, go toilet and ive been attacked, turn to give my partner a hug and a kiss so she don't feel like she is here for no reason and what do you know, ive been attacked.

Hehe I am glad that I am not the only one that needs to comfort my Girlfriend when playing game so she does not feel ignored (Even though she is playing bejeweled)

Yes! I agree...

The game automatically asks to reload if it sits dormant for 5 minutes. So go to the bathroom, kiss your gf/bf and leave the game on. There is your 5 minutes your asking for. There is lots of times that I am trying to collect that last 100,000 elixar or gold to start an upgrade and I leave it on for a long time and just touch the screen to reset the game clock to zero again.

Yes it does but here is the issue.

1. If you are using a phone, your phone screen will turn off after 30 seconds and make the game inactive instantly so you do not get 5 min before being attacked. You only get 30 seconds.

2. I play on my phone and if I go from point A to point B i turn my screen off therefor stopping the game and making me a target instantly.

If the 5 min dormant rule worked from the last time you were active then it would be great!!! But it does not.
It goes by if the game is running or not.

I was making troops and put my phone on the ottoman, the screen turned off after 30 sec then when I turned it back on 30 sec latter I was being attacked.

You can change your screen settings at options, I put my phone stand-by option on 'Never go on Stand-by'... xD

But then that will eat up your battery and if you put it in your pants it might use the phone Pocket dial, attack someone (yes my phone started to attack someone when I had the screen on in my pocket) etc...

That is why I turn my phone off every time I put it in my pocket.
This game is on a mobile platform. So I may play at work then need to go to another office temperately (2 min walk) then back to my desk (2 min walk) during those 4 min I am vulnerable.

Same when I go to bed.
I turn off my phone go up the stairs brush teeth go to bathroom (3 Min) go to bedroom plug it in and open game. That is 3 minutes while I am vulnerable.

What am I supposed to do? Walk around with the game on in my hand while walking around?

5 Min on game standby is great, I just wish the timer keep going on while the game is closed.

I work in IT so I walk around many times a day and go clients desks and say "have you tried rebooting" they say no they reboot and boom it works. all in under 5 min.
