My Wall Fortification Idea!!! Please Look Super Cell & All!!!

So i was thinking, we spend a lot of Gold on upgrading our walls and we are always left with a tonne of elixir.

So i was thinking, in some games you can Fortify buildings to give extra Protection. So i came up with this Idea to Fortify Walls to give extra Protection. Heres how it would work.

This Will Be Unlocked At Town Hall 6 or 7, Because At That Level You Start To Have A Tonne of Elixir As Stated In This Post:

THIS IS THE SOLUTION!!!

There will be 5 Levels of Fortification, the walls would be Covered in the elixir we spend on them (Elixir Shield). look at the image below to get a feel of what i am on about.

So with each Level of Fortification the wall will gain 5% Protection, and the Elixir Shield will become more visible with each Fortification Upgrade.

The Fortification Stats:

Level 1 Fortification:
-5% Protection
-80% Transparent - 20% Visible
-Cost: 50,000 Elixir

Level 2 Fortification:
-10% Protection
-60% Transparent - 40% Visible
-Cost: 100,000 Elixir

Level 3 Fortification:
-15% Protection
-40% Transparent - 60% Visible
-Cost: 200,000 Elixir

Level 4 Fortification:
-20% Protection
-20% Transparent - 80% Visible
-Cost: 350,000 Elixir

Level 5 Fortification:
-25% Protection
-0% Transparent - 100% Visible
-Cost: 500,000 Elixir

So basically as you Upgrade the Walls Fortification it will become more Visible!

I think this would be a great addition to the game and will help us spend some of that Elixir.

Note: (The Price is Per Wall, So Level 1 = 50,000 Per Wall)
Note: (This should not be used on any other building except walls in my Idea, if you have an Idea about doing this for another building or something, post another thread, DO NOT POST IT ON MINE)

Wait until you get to TH10 and champion league. Then you will see how valuable elixer is. You wont have the elixer to spend on this. So this would be useless for a lot of high level players.

Also while were at it, why don't we use "DE" dark elixer and make the walls corrupted which does thorn damage (Reflects if hit)

Maybe just upgrade walls?!

What are you on about, they will make even more money out of us doing this, cus we will all be spending more elixir on our wall upgrades, which means more money to them. And corse you will BUY better walls, for a higher Protection Rate.

if a wall had 1000hp and you had 5% Protection on it, the new hp would be 1050hp.
so if you spend gold and upgrade the wall to 1500hp with 5% Protection, the new hp would be 1575hp.

this makes so much sense and would actually make Super Cell money because we would be using more resources on our walls!!!

Supercell doesn't make money when your spending elixir, only when you use gems, Gems cost money with the exception of the free ones you get. And who would spend 20-30mil in elixir on walls? Some people have over 200 walls. 50k a wall is ridiculous. The overall Idea is ok, but the cost is way to much, and if its a temporary wall?

I understand you about the gems but The walls would remain fortified forever once Fortified.

you think 50k elixir is ridiculous. It costs me 200k gold to upgrade 1 wall to the next level, then after that it is going to cost me 500k gold, so that is ridiculous, the wall Foritfication coat is fair i think, Supercell would figure out how much it would cost anyway!

And overall i think it would be good as loads of people say they always have loads of elixir compared to the amount of gold they have, so this would get rid of that extra elixir for a LITTLE (and i must put that in caps) for a LITTLE extra protection!!

A maxed wall with 25% damage protection would give it an equavelent toughness of 8750 hitpoints...

Gold are used for defense, only cc troops use elixir/DE that can be used for defense and the elix/DE does not even come from your own pocket...

IMO, its better to stick to using gold for defense. Using elixir to fortify walls in your idea here is the same as to have another sort of upgrade using elixir for walls, and its far too cheap IMO.

People are still complaining about they have to much elixir, is would be great!!
