Hey im level 107 and am soon going to be pushing to masters league. I have max elixir and am just upgrading walls so thought it would be a good time to do so. All of my dark elixir troops are level one (i have primarily focused on upgrading heroes), so i was wondering what attack strategies i should use for this push? Also whether level one troops will be at all effective?

Level 3 archers barbs and giants, TH snipe, 3 to 5 days of 12 hr sessions.
Otherwise, can try loonions (level 6 loons), or mass drag (lvl 3), or hogs (level 4 or 5).
I am in high masters right now and...
Strategies
Loons - Since your minions are a lower level you'd probably need 20-24 balloons. This is an excellent strategy, and if you go for 50% (avoiding infernos like the plague) making master's isn't too difficult. Use only if balloons are max
Barbarians & Archers - Pack all lightnings and go for 50%, either destroy a mortar or save the spells for buildings if you come up sort (requires you may careful attention to how much damage buildings have taken)
Hogs/Giants/Healer/Wizard - not an option for you but something you'll see allot of
Giant/Healer - If these units are maxed this is an option, you'll need at least some wizards - only thing is as you raise in trophies disco infernos and seeking air mines are going to make life pretty hard
Mass Dragon - If you got level 3 this will work but loss effectiveness as you raise in trophies. Though if you spam rage spells you can still do pretty well with this (not recommended)
If you got PEKKA, throwing two of those into a giant healer combo is pretty strong. Your training time will balloon but its effective.
I haven't pushed beyond crystal 3 with barch (got masters with loonion) but when I farm with barch I bring 5 minions to the party to take out the barb king, does that sound smart for trophy pushing too or is there something I'm missing? In my head it also seems smart to bring a witch too.Quote:

Pushing to masters right now too. Last push I got all the way to 2500 with barch, and I had no clue what I was doing. Hopefull this time I'll get farther.
Tips:
Spells: lightning
Be prepared to search longer than normal.
Look for bases with all barracks, collectors, lab, drills, spell factory, and hopefully more inside.
Make sure you don't trigger CC/heroes, so either find an unlurable CC or attack from the opposite side first.
Place barbs in obvious trap spots.
Look for splash that doesn't reach outside.
Bring Wiz, Hogs, loons, drag, minion, or archers in CC.
Attack one side at a time.
Also adding minions makes it weaker. Some people think using bam would be more powefull, but it isn;t

And 5 minions isn't going to break your army strenght if it takes out the king with only a minor investment.
By the way, I like 5 because otherwise it can take a long time if the king is a higher level.

20 lvl 6 looms rest minions 3 rage 1 lightning.
BARCH is good for masters/champs where they're trying to prevent GoWiWi, so they put a ton of buildings outside to prevent a loss more than a 1 star.
Loons don't really work up there.
GoWiPe is only good if you got maxed troops.
Switched back to barch today as I was not finding anything; first next is an abandoned base. FINALLY. That only took 35 raids!
B-arch with level 6 troops should easily get you towards Masters; my TH9 has got to C2 easily with only level 5 troops, low-level heroes, and hardly ever any spells, just farming really not pushing. But bases in lower Masters in general are geared mostly towards protecting resources as well as trophies, so there are not a huge number that give an easy 50%, I think... although personally I am often just getting the outside 50% with balloons and minions easily enough with no spells, I'm just not sure how easily this would be with b-arch instead.
Definitely try b-arch is my recommendation, with some spells and heroes and CC for backup you should find all you need is a bit of practice and patience. Chuck your full elixer stores out on the edges too, people will farm those until at least C1 if not higher!
I attacked Howie a couple of days ago... He was in Masters 2, using barbs and archers to farm walls. Level 40 heroes would help of course :)Quote:
