So it’s quit here, so I decide I can do some raids. Big mistake.
I start looking for a raid, phone rings. Stop. Start looking again, someone needs my help. Stop again. Help them, come back and try again. Phone, work, email.
Anyway, in the end, I am down about 100,000 gold and still no raid.
very sad. :(
Same happens to me from time to time but when it's slow I make up the loot lost.

I just had my boss walk in mid raid. When I returned the AQ was still up and I had 50sec left to grab as much as I could. ha.
I sometimes pop on and off.
Mostly during the summer when I have more paper work than my normal tasks. I make long builds, keep things fresh and raid every now and again.
Allot of the time I go to work and continue my morning raiding session, so in general its not too big a deal if something comes up (game wise) - it just means my morning "session" is done. My mornings tend to be quite so it works but occasionally I have to stop mid raid. If I pop on some time after, its a bit more risky and sometimes I just spend money breaking a shield.
used to happen to me at work now i just go sit in the bathroom when i want to attack. The things we do to clash.
