Wish Supercell would stop bowing down to the whiners in the forum for every upgrade. Those happy with the game who enjoy playing it as is tend not to make comments, it's only the whiners of "ooohhh, please make the game easier for me" who seem to be in here.

My points -

Ability to dump war castle troops - the war castles are great for clan cooperation and clan management - if your clan cant coordinate it puts you in a weaker position in a war than a clan which can. Therefore it is clan vs clan i.e. Clan wars. If there is no coordination and cooperation - it's just individual battles. If people in the clan cannot cooperate - is the clan properly managed, do you want those people in the clan? And why should those clans who can cooperate not have an advantage over those who cant?

Constant loot complainers - get a grip, it's the same for everyone, doesn't put you at a disadvantage over others so put up and shut up. There's enough new loot available to those complainers through the wars.

Now the latest one is an opt in/ opt out button - should not be included for exactly the same reason dumping castles shouldn't have been - clan wars is about clan vs clan, it's about managing your clan, coordinating and cooperating - you all whined enough about wanting clan wars now everyone seems to not want it......

That is so very true

I haven't done much (or any) whining. Maybe an occasional suggestion to improve things, or agreeing with someone. And I agree with you on the loot from a th9 perspective.
On Clan Wars, though, many of us have a clan with friends and family - I'd call it the casual clan. Many in my clan love clan wars, and would do it every two days if they could. Others would do it once a week or once every two weeks. But we enjoy getting on, chatting, sharing videos. We would prefer that people didn't have to leave and rejoin regularly for wars, but we also want to be competitive when we war. My nephew graduates this weekend, there are parties galore, my brother will be busy with that all weekend - it would be nice if they both didn't have to leave the clan, or leave us 4 down on attacks.
I wasn't too worried about clan castle dumping, but I can see it being an issue and think it would be a positive improvement.
So I won't bash people for suggesting improvements to the game. If forumers hadn't rallied for Clan Wars would we have it? Not sure.

however, about the point on dumping cc. It doesn't come down to poor clan management if an individual feels the need to 'troll' fellow members as a joke or as a leaving present. A few times we have had 1 or 2 individuals donate wrong troops (giants and wall breakers when we ask for wizards and witches) and the rest of our clan have been spot on. And as the donators remain anonymous it is a trollers paradise, but with the new update trolls can now be counter-acted, and who doesn't want this?

Thats exactly what poor clan management is...... Good clan management is to ensure the guys you do have wont do this..... And if you absolutely have to go to war with new members in the clan you don't yet fully know.... Maybe you shouldn't be warring at that time or organise your clan so that all castles get filled by those with the correct troops as soon as the war button is pressed.

There is a small loot issue no matter what you say. And even the best clans in the world can have a troller that donates goblins. This needed to be added to fix that. The war base idea is so we can farm and enjoy clan wars. You can do the argument of coordination in clan wars would fix this but what about that one guy that is about to get kicked? Do you want him to give you bad troops before he gets kicked, ruining your defence chances? Coordination doesnt fix everything bud. Now be happy supercell worked their asses off for the majority and not for what you want.

im glad SC added the dismiss troops and war base edit mode. Did it improve our clan at all? Not one bit. We didn't need either, but that doesn't mean I can't recognize that these 2 additions would help a lot of other clans. Not every clan is as mature as ours. Same goes for the opt in/out button. Do we need it? Nope. Does the average clan need it? Yes.

Try not to only think of yourself all the time :)

About your loot argument, imagine this situation. We are all in chest-deep pits in a muddy beach. As every wave comes we get soaked and muddy, we eat passing crabs and drink rainwater. We are all in the same situation but does that make our situation good? Equality is not a magical answer to everything, it is just one of many requiremets.

Off topic....

We just had, sort of, the opposite problem. First couple wars we had stupid donators. Took me a bit to rein it in, but every war after has been perfect for donations. Then the ability to dump, we are back to stupid donations.

Some clannies are saying, "what does it matter, we can just dismiss them". No sorry, now it requires the player to log on again, dismiss and receive donations. I have already dumped my cc twice and received the wrong troops AGAIN!

Time to train them all over again.

Not a complaint. We will get it under control again. Just a rant. Thanks for reading.

For the excuse of clan management and defense donations. The view in the original poster of calling it "clan management" only works if there was a log of something. Since it does not, then you are simply complaining of the people complaining, making yourself a hypocrite.

For loot issues, clan wars war bonus could use a boost. Highest level collectors are obtained as a town hall seven. So there is issues with that, and I will admit it despite me disliking so many threads on the subject.

For the peple supporting the first post, I find it blindly supporting it and with that I say you make me disappointed in the human race to have an once of intelligence in the area of thinking for themselves.

We had the same, till the 3rd war. Someone put giants in like everyone and end up making us tie. Then two wars I got trolled by someone, as said before even "perfect" clans will have someone tolling to troll.

Going with your exmaple you even have worse trolls. If they want to waiste people time and their elixer have at it. THe people saying "it does not matter" why not do what the first person's post and do some clan managment and kick anyone saying it does not matter? Tell them it does, you are doing so to troll and waste people's time and you wont have it.

So you're saying because a troll makes it into your clan and donates you wallbreakers, well obviously your clan is poorly managed? That, sir, makes no sense. You even said you get giants and wallbreakers in your clan castle, so if I were you I'd be greatful for that not think oh, well we should have to deal with it.

I have a question: Would you get the troops back if your clanmate dismisses them? Its bad enough that it doesnt count in the donations given screen, there can be a guy who decides to dismiss all the level 5 wizards we give.
I dont really agree with the dismissing troops. That was not the right solution. The right solution was to see who donated what troop, so you can thank the ones who donated good troops and kick the ones who donated barbarians, thus, still catering to "whiners" but also catering to ones who think that organized clans should have an advantage.

re: war castle troops.

To enable me to manage our clan I need information. In a non clan war request people can see who has donated ( it comes up on the screen) and people have the ability to dump troops in the goblin mission. People get kicked from my clan for donating the wrong troops and its rare for this to happen.

Allowing troops to be dumped is only allowing people to do what they can actually do in the normal game. It doesn't spoil game play and its a very small request. It would be better if you can find out who donated what - I had my own method - and people can then actually manage the clan by tackling those individuals and, if necessary, kick them. Its newer members that are more prone to make mistakes.

Re: Opt out.

There were some people in our clan who didn't participate initially. Those that didn't but were 'available' but just chose not to have, with encouragement, participated. As a clan we are very supportive of eachother. Nobody has made fun of another person for not winning any stars. Everyone has encouraged and helped each other and most people get at least one star. That is not the problem I have.

The problem I have is that some of our clan cannot play for temporary reasons. for example they are going away and there's no wifi signal. It is an extreme solution to ask people to leave and rejoin and, with an international clan, its not practical for most people to do this. As numbers are rounded down to the nearest 5 it means that some people who may want to join in are automatically excluded.

You are right that this can be a problem for most clans that we are matched with. However, from the perspective of a winning side, it is immensely disappointing to be matched with a clan who, as a whole, clearly didn't want to participate in a war. We trained good troops; we strategized; we attacked and won stars! We were waiting for the big finish we have had in every war where at the last minute both clans are attacking each other. But it never happened. There was no sense of real excitement as there had been on the previous occasions where it was neck and neck.

Members opting out means that for some farming clans - like ours - could participate in clan wars more than once a week. I know some members that would appreciate this!

Clan wars is a new addition and was not part of the original game play. Our clan is a very tight knit clan and many of us have been together for months - I joined the original clan last July.I think Clan Wars is great - it shows our clan at our very best. But participation in clan wars wasn't part of the original ethos of the clan. Its not what we originally agreed. Its a shame that for many clans this is a big change and its impact had not been thought through properly by Supercell. and im not kicking people who are trying to save for their lvl6 giants etc.

The ability to dump war castle troops is awesome. Sure, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but that doesn't mean never improve and make the game better...

I've seen clans get trolled by rage quit guys who just fill clan war castle with gobs and garbage. There's also been mistakes and people accidentally clicking too many wizards or witches. Not malicious but things happen.

What really needs to happen is for SC to actually start paying attention to the cup hunters needs. Trophy system is so broken up there, but there's been little to nothing done about it. Sure, the solutions don't seem very viable, but would be nice if SC pretended like they were trying or cared...

Coming on and whining about whiners (Most at supercell would call them contributors) get's nothing done. It certainly doesn't add value to the game, as most updates do. The whole point of a forum is to create a community where feedback can be given and heard. Kudos to Supercell for being good at listening to the community which helps support these upgrades. If the game were never updated, it would have been dead long before I started playing back in January. Sure, if it isn't broken don't fix it. The flaw in your use of this is that clan wars was not perfect to begin with. You may continue to pat yourself on the back for seemingly having 50 loyal and abiding clan members at all times who never do anything wrong. Kudos. Oh and also having all of them completely ready for war when you or your leaders decide its time. I mean surely no one in your clan must know the pain of going through a war while your hero or heroes are upgrading, nevermind your spell factory. Again, kudos to you sir.

If it were left up to the players like you, there are many features I am sure you enjoy today that would not exist. You're welcome :). All your rant says about you is that you are small minded and not very forward thinking. Why don't you start contributing ideas to the forum instead of bashing legitimate ones.

For the record, I support weeding out and kicking trolls but isn't always the easiest task. If 5 people in your clan decided right now they wanted to turn troll and are careful enough about it, I am willing to bet you never catch a whiff of who they are.

Well stated. I don't see the down side in an opt in feature. On vacation for a week? It's OK just don't opt in. Have finals? It's OK don't opt in. Want to war every time and enjoy it? It's OK just opt in. etc....

If people in the clan cannot cooperate - is the clan properly managed, do you want those people in the clan? And why should those clans who can cooperate not have an advantage over those who cant?

Constant loot complainers - get a grip, it's the same for everyone, doesn't put you at a disadvantage over others so put up and shut up. There's enough new loot available to those complainers through the wars.

Now the latest one is an opt in/ opt out button - should not be included for exactly the same reason dumping castles shouldn't have been - clan wars is about clan vs clan, it's about managing your clan, coordinating and cooperating - you all whined enough about wanting clan wars now everyone seems to not want it......

Going with your exmaple you even have worse trolls. If they want to waiste people time and their elixer have at it. THe people saying "it does not matter" why not do what the first person's post and do some clan managment and kick anyone saying it does not matter? yes, thank you. We will get it under control again. We are recruiting also, so many new players, it could have been honest mistakes. I've made it clear that it does matter.
