GRAVES! Read Plz !
Now we all know that when a troop dies in battle, their is a grave which gets you 20 elixir per grave, now I was thinking that how about we change that, the way that this could be done is simple and easy what would happen is that every time someone attacked you and a troop died they would 10 percent of that troops cost. Why have this you may ask, while I myself am a attacking player my best friend and leader of my clan is a defense kind of player , it kind of seems unfair to me that people upgrade their defenses and spend a lot of resources and then only to protect the resources they have is all they got which is great but they should get an income from this. So instead of adding the popular let's give a loot bonus to a defenders victory why can't we just have this. So if your defense destroy a good army and win they not only win but get a small profit from it 10 percent of cost of opposing players army, and that does include spells as well and dark troops, but you only get this bonus if u destroy the troop not if the battle ends and some troops still left. So my solution to help more defensive players is this what troops they destroy they get 10 percent of that troops cost by of course clearing the graves that are made if they haven't killed the troop then they get the 20 elixir, that we have now.
Would love to hear Some Reply Guy's Thanks and Also Vote in the poll please thanks, I need to know what the community thinks!
Add on*-This would be better than the defense loot bonus since a farmer could just attack the base and the defense could get loot, with this your defense needs to earn it itself, providing for a better system with the graves idea. Oh yeah its much more simple to do then a loot bonus, and its fair!
Add on*- Graves could programmed to be moved so if troop dies on building can still got loot also you could add a skeleton on the building to show the troop has died like the grave.

I see a lot of reads and views, and some positive feedback from the polls, but I still want to here what you think and how we can make this better thx for any help and comments!

Great idea! I would love to see that in the next update.

I am a defensive player myself and would live this. Many people live off of attacking and this would give more reason to upgrade your walls and defenses in the game

Good idea, but the defenders would not get any gold from the grave stone which is more valuable to me than elixir and what happens if the troops are destroyed over a building? The grave stone would not appear so would you still get the loot bonus?

Good idea . needs tweak . nice idea overall . walls become more specifically needed .

As a dominantly defensive player I really love this idea. I've been attacked by some monster armies and have done well. This would help my base. Plus the xbows eat up any elixar gained from graves and then some.

You have some good points in there but I think it would be simple and fair enough to give out the league bonus to won defences as with won attacks, shouldn't be too hard to implement and actually I think the one who won a real defence deserves the leage bonus most :) bit the problem with my idea is that too many people drops trophies very often and too many people would try to abuse it^^
Guess ur idea is a little better thereby but we could have the league bonus as a gain by won defences at 25-49%?

The only issue with this is, you only get graves if those troops were to be killed on a tile that's not occupied by anything (traps, defenses, walls, etc.)
Usually the only troops that are getting killed off, and in it's place is a gravestone, are barbarians, archers, goblins, which technically you are already getting the 10% (by this rule you're actually getting 20% off goblins and barbs).
Not exactly sure how you would implement a 10% bonus off of spells, even in mythological lore, spells dissipate on use so...yeah.
It's not a bad idea, I see where you're going, I do agree that successful defenses should yield more than just a lot of trophies.
Only problem is loopholes, and most or some of what you stated is kind of already in effect.

I think this is a really gd idea and can see the logic behind it.
