Feels to me that Supercell are basically using this update to deploy clan wars functionality that should have been there at the start and expecting us to get excited about it. But 1 of the 2 things really needed isn't in it. Opt out.
This is update may be down to them rushing clan wars out because they couldn't put it back again.
im not usually negative but just feel this is meh!
'at the start'...They could only test this with a limited number of people all working together. You can't expect them to anticipate trolls filling with goblins or CoLeaders secretly starting wars. As far as saved bases theyve always been looking into that. It just wasn't done yet.Quote:

Again should this not be in an existing sneak peek, update thread? After all it is discussing the sneak peeks, update and there is enough threads on this subject already. I guess it depends on wether the mods like you or not when it comes to deciding which threads should be closed/moved.Quote:

We literally only 3 starred 10 of their bases, the rest are 2 or 1 star, with a LOT of abysmal bounces on the enemy's defenders...
It's rare for me to turn 180 degrees for my opinions, but it took a war lost and a short comment from the OP for me to reason with myself and disagree to what I said earlier.
I look forward for this update, regardless of having or not having new contents.
I don't mind being called a whiner. This is easily the most boring update ever. Bug fixes and small tweaks are cool and much needed, but I don't think they needed to have sneak peeks for them. Less hype = less whining.;)
Was expecting them to nerf a troop & then add another level to upgrade.
SC supposedly spent many months secretly making Clan Wars, they even flown several popular youtubers to their head quarters to "test" out CW. I do not see the reason why there are so many flaws when it first came out. They should've had a small community of players to beta test it and they should be comprised of regular people and not SC staffs. These people would be able to tell you that switching layouts during wars it a HUGE PAIN IN THE REAR and that they've accidentally donated the wrong troops and want a way to dump them, hence CW base edit/saved and troop dumping should already be in the game.
The CW stats isn't really necessary imo, however, I'm not opposed to more datas.
Being able to see who started a war would also be solved if you have a better beta testing community. Since everyone that tested out CW were probably staffs that works in the same place, of course you wouldn't have considered this at the time, you can physically see who did it. And also because of this reason, you are familiar with everyone that you are warring against and are not faced with people with foreign names, hence it's not necessary to number them in the war map.
The ! notification is just a stupid bug.
And I really have nothing to say about the interface improvements.
Thanks for reading my dissatisfaction for this update. I might have some of the info incorrect and my grammar kind of suck, please correct me. I am sorry if I am ranting a bit here.
