New update, no new content...

i suspected that something was up when they came out with those sneak peeks lol

SC wanted to break us down slowly...can you imagine the furore had they not given us the heads up and hyped the update like they do? haha:D

pretty smart thing to do and use the lovely marika to do it...who can hate on her?:rolleyes: :D;)

but anyway the update after CW was always going to be about CW....but this is still the lamest 50 MB that im going to waste on the game:rolleyes:

and all that about opt in and out....i know that its a serious hindrance but theres hardly anything that can be done about it from SCs end which won't cause even more confusion and problems...

best thing to do is to either drop cups hard or just leave the clan until a match is found and then come back

I think its its a good post war update. It ticks all the boxes except war opt in/out.

Member opt out, which (co)leader can override, is about the only thing missing from the great clan wars now!

What's new in this update:


War Base layout and War Base Edit Mode!

✔ Been wanting to keep a separate layout for your War Base? Now you can!

✔ Your War Base layout now has a life of its own and will persist from war to war without the need to touch your regular village.

✔ War Base Edit Mode is available on the Clan War map during preparation day only. Layouts are still locked during battle day.

These were already confirmed to be in next update when clan wars came out. Nothing special about this update. They should make 1 gem collector boosts also.

You seem to have forgotten the most important box that has not been ticked off.

Honestly, I do not look forward for this update. There will be an increase of warbases purely designed with star protection in mind, not the swip-swap transformer bases my clan have been fighting up till now. Transformer bases, being an adaptable base and hybrid bases are a lot easier to star than a true storage-out-defenses-in type warbase. I can say this from personal experience. And current warbases mostly have some form of loot protection because its too hard to keep changing your base from regular pvp to wars, people dont want to win trophies but lose a ton of resource each time in regular defense. Warbases use these lootable buildings as shields for their defense.

War castle troop dumping will likely increase the number of WCs filled with powerful troops...

All in all, I am not looking forward for this update because it would make my clan's efforts for war such as switching bases before a war and the efforts we make to ensure our WCs troops are top notch much less rewarding. A lazier clan can have layouts and WC troops as good as what we have with less effort...

If it helps Clan Wars I'm happy with this update. People keep asking why it's all Clan Wars. It's all Clan Wars because that was the last update and it wasn't complete. This is the Clan Wars update pt.2:The Tweakening.

Good points actually... But it works both ways, you'll have a Great War base also. Unless you're a weak attacker it shouldn't make too much difference.

It's not a very exciting update, but at least it has most of the requested CW improvements in it. I like it because I can now max my defenses before new content is added. Great to be ahead of the game and it also solves the 'loot issues' hehe;)
