Clan Castle trigger range question

Forgive me if this has been answered before. A quick search did not find it.

When a clan castle is touched in planning or scouting (for war) a whitish circle of the trigger range is displayed.

There are three possibilities:

a) if a building totally outside the circle is attacked, the defending clan castle troops will not be deployed.
b) if a building totally within the circle defending clan castle is attacked, troops will be deployed (as long as those attacking troops live).

But what about:

c) if a building is partially inside and partially outside the circle will defending clan castle troops be deployed? Does the % of the building on either side of the range circle matter?

The buildings don't matter , if any troops go into that zone , the clan castle troops come out.

Its all depends on if the troop goes into the circle
