Since there is a save war base function coming into the game, and i get attacked mostly by hogs in cw i decided i need a anti hog base to repel those pesky hogs. (when i mean repel i mean not get 3 starred :cool:)
If you have a good base then feel to post it down below or otherwise i'll have to design my own :p

I personally don't like how the tesseract works against non hog armies but technically it is an antihog base.
Upgrade all your giant bombs to max and stack them together one on top of of the other, not left/right, put giant bombs between to two weapons on the side - cannon/archer tower works just fine. There should not be four spaces between cannon and archer tower, there should only be two. The bombs should be stacked like "8" not like "00" Max hogs run into them and die, heal spells can't even save them - I know because I lost 30 max hogs in this manner. They are your most important defense against hogs. There is none other better than that.

Two level 3 giant bombs dont kill a maxed hog, if you are a decent hogger them those bombs wont hinder you and if they kill your hogs its only 1/2 of your army if thatQuote:

It's always good to apply the various "anti-hog" concepts to your base, but like it or not, a max level hog army with 5 maxed heal spells is going to wipe your th8 base regardless of what you do. The max level double bombs at th8 don't kill a full health hog. But if the attacker isn't careful... bye bye hogs. The heal spell needs to be applied BEFORE the hogs run over it.
The key is to disguise the double bomb areas, or make the attacker question whether a 2x4 space is a double bomb or a fake. Unfortunately at TH8, you're short 25 walls that a th9 would have, which makes things more difficult.
Don't get me wrong, I use an anti-hog base as well, but at th10, not many bother trying.
