I think the idea of giving up on a war is a pretty straight foward idea. If your down by 10 stars with 3 attacks left in your clan, but 9hrs left in the war, you should be able to forfeit and start another war. It seems like a waste of time waiting to lose (not that my clan always loses but still)
What if people want to use those 3 attacks just to snipe an opponent's townhall for the little bonus loot?
What if the winning clan has attacks left and they want to townhall snipe YOUR clan's bases because they know they already won the war and want the bonus loot? Heck, forget sniping, maybe that want to do a full on raid to gain even more stars to boost their personal clan wars statistics?
Even though you lost the war, maybe those 3 attackers in your clan want to 3-star one of the opponents bases to increase their own personal raiding statistics and work towards the "war hero" achievement.
It's not fair to take that opportunity away from them because you decided you want to give up.
Everyone was given a 24-hour prep clock, and 24-hour battle clock. Those should not be tampered with because people may plan out their free time to strategically raid in clan wars based on the fact that they know when the timer is going to run out.
I was on board with a forfeit button till you brought this up. Good points about gaining extra loot. What if the leaders had to agree to it?Quote:

No even if u do lose u still get a bit of loot, and y waste loot and troops? Just to forfeit
Really great points, and i like the leader/elder vote system. How about if all the elders, and the leaders were in agreement to forfeit??? Besides the bonus loot from a lost war is pennies compared to winning, i think the members in my clan would be okay with ending a losing war early to start a new one.Quote:

And forfeit is somewhat alike with surrender. But, the whole idea you're saying is okay.
