Currently War preparation is 24 hours. To speed up the process, is it possible for SC to create an option that if both teams are ready for battle, their leader/co-leader can both push a button indicating they are ready now and therefore go to war without having to wait 24 hours?

I mean, it would be awesome about lessening the time preparing for battle day, but considering your opponent clan and your clan's different time zones and preparation styles (How they prepare for the battle).
Here's why?
Opponent Clan:
1. What if the other clan didn't rush their preparation day to end. One word, COMPLICATED!
2. Your clan is ready but what if the other clan isn't? Take your time. One day is enough. Do you want the preparation day to be very short, like just an hour. Be patient!
3. Different time zone of the opponent clan. Let's say your clan is from Japan. The other is from Canada. It has a very large difference in time.
Your Clan:
1. Well, Basically consider yourselves the opponent clan. You don't want to happen to your clan those 3 things right? A day is enough. You know what's not enough? Your Patience!
-- And also, if SC wouldn't implement this new concept because it is has many complications and it is just ideas with no considerations.

if one team pushes the button and the other doesn't sooner then the 24 hours, then the war does not start early.
The nice thing here is, if both teams are ready and have the option to hit the "we're ready," button, then they don't have to wait the 24 hours looking at the screen.
It just doesn't seem right that if both teams are ready in minutes, a few hours or anything less then the 24 hours, that they should have to just sit there and wait out the clock.

The beauty of the 24-hour timers are that when everything starts, that's the exactly time when everything ends.
This is the best way for clan wars, especially considering many clans are international, with players from all different time zones in the world. It doesn't make sense if the clan war prep day started at 11pm, but the battle day started 4 hours later instead of 24 hours later, because that would mean that clan wars would have ended at 3am for those people and they would be asleep, instead of being able to strategically do their attacks with just minutes left in the war.
It complicates things.
24-hour prep day and battle day are fine the way they are, it makes it the most accommodating for all time zones. And the fact that there's a set schedule, where as if the clans decide that they are ready to finish prep day early, it throws off the schedule by introducing an unknown variable that some of the clan members did not prepare for (such as battle ending when they are going to be asleep, unlike what was originally planned, 48 hours after the prep day started)
hawdog, thank you for your comments, for what you says makes sense, but my contention is that if both Clan Leaders advise that they are ready, then they are speaking on behalf of their entire Clan, domestic or international.Quote:

I just don't see a reason to wait when the people that know their Clan the best say we are all ready to go now, and the 24 hour clock will begin then.
