New Trap Idea - DoT
Hey, just a random thought, not much details or anything, but how about a trap that does damage over time?
Say poison gas, or to follow the theme, some sort of fire trap. Itd work by being activated within a smaller radius than its damage zone, much like the tesla tower. Once activated, it would release ??? in the surrounding 4 or 5 squares for 10 seconds, dealing damage over time, maybe even have the damage increase each second like the inferno tower.
Thought it might make things more interesting, or add more strategy such as chokepoints with traps for double wallers,
a way to decourage attacks from a certain side of your base etcetc.

I like the idea of a DoT poison-type trap, that can be upgraded to do more damage and/or for a longer duration. Would help bring back balance to the defensive side, especially closer to end game play.
At lower levels, this could be overpowered though. Even at higher trophies it could be overpowered......... imagine mass hogs getting roasted by dual disco infernos, while also being poisoned at the same time as being zapped by maxed level wiz towers and teslas :p
Maybe this would be a tad bit overpowered after all.

Haha true that ! I was thinking of it doing not too much damage, maybe just enough to be able to pick off archers and goblins, lasting only for a short duration. Not enough damage to kill hogs, we got enough inferno towers to deal with already :(

i would go with it if it was a slow trap .. like sticky goo .. not too much damage but it counters rage spell speed bonus .. here goes my idea LOL
