Anyway, based on the poll I voted yes. SC at some point will add more loot. It will not be enough please most complainers though. As someone said before, they have already been adding more loot, and they probably will again.

How much money did you spend maxing out? Did you burden yourself with non-stop farming? Regardless if farmed non-stop, you would still need to spend money in order to progress in game, because I believe that's just how SuperCell intended Clash of Clans to work.

They did, it was called clan wars


Seriously, that is all added in loot (elixir and DE tends to be a net loss)

Then there are the boost specials.


Not saying I don't want another collector level or anything but lets not be dramatic about it.

I think that the folks in Helsinki coding CoC are actually normal people with normal mindsets and they just want to do what they love. When they release new updates, they are of course partially ment to make SC some profits but also to really make this game more enjoyable for its players. They have pride too, I don't think SC is going to release pure garbage even if it would profit them.
Even if you are so cynical that you don't agree with me at all, listen to this: Is it smarter from an economic pespective to
a) strangle a game to death by making it mandatory to pay big bucks for even the smallest profit, rendering casual gaming impossible but making more profits for the corporation for a short time
b) to slightly diminish corporations profits in order to improve the longevity of its most succesful product, effectively making a bit less profits but for a longer time

SC is not a mindless harvesting machine or a mechanism driven by greed, it is a business run by smart people. They read these forums, they know of ire due to lack of smart loot and other issues and they will take action because they are neither senselessly greedy nor stupid.

I agree with most of what you have said. All I ask is that they say it, not you, not a mod, someone who represents the company. Just tell us, yes, this is the way it is, it's not going to change, it's the way we want it and this is why.

But they don’t, they just let us complain, promise to say something and then don’t.

Tell us the truth and I will decide what to do. So simple, so easy, yet we continue to wait. Many have left, many like me have just stopped spending.

Spent around 20 USD for builders. Average playtime of 2-3 hours on weekdays and 4-5 hours on weekends.

I don't think that's what people are looking for. What they want the opportunity for loot.
Hitting next 100 time to find something good is no fun, and the higher you go the worse it gets.

I am TH9 now but I still see TH6’s and below. The penalty is crazy, so why am I still seeing them. I can’t get loot, the cups are very low. What’s the point of even showing them to me?

With the exception of league and war bonuses all the other loot in game comes from collectors, your own or other peoples if you raid it from them.
