Nonsense Daclanman... Many players survive in champ largely on defence. For example my base isn't fully maxed but drifted up from 3,350 to just under 3,600 over the last two weeks largely on defence. Many of our players make champ for the first time on def.
re a champ shield... I think he will have one if he simply started an attack when over 3,200 and the points loss from losing isn't enough to drop him under 3,200.
The base design he is using is pretty effective and quite popular, especially in clan wars.

did he start in gold then not play at all and got bumped up to champs in defence alone??
suppose youve been bumped up a league but you weren't online to click on the trophy icon.....so until youve clicked on that icon it doesn't go into the achievement is that right?
