The Forum Goes to War!

FAQ(Just fielding some questions I expect to get):

When will this be?
WARS START JUNE 16th, CLANS OPEN JUNE 15th.
BE THERE BY WAR TIME OR BE REPLACED.

What is this?
It’s like Forum Elite but for Wars.

Do you have permission to do a Forum Event?
Yes, I asked Steve to be sure.

What will the clan name be?
Forum Legion(I, II, etc.)

Who is hosting it?
No one? Me? No clan in particular, just an event for the forum. I’ll probably lead the main clan unless anyone objects to it.

Who can participate?
Anyone!

How do I sign up?
Just fill out the form I provide later on with a picture of your base(if you don’t know how to post a picture I personally use TinyPic and paste the link it gives me into my forum comment).

What if there aren’t a multiple of 5 who sign up?
The 1-4 extra players and all the “maybe”s will be put on the reserve list for if a player doesn’t show up or does something to get themselves kicked.

Who will lead the clans?
CoLeaders will be trusted and experienced Forum Members. Once I see who wants to participate I can start assigning the actual leaders and coleaders.

How long and how many wars?
1 week and 3 wars for each clan

How will we all communicate?
Glassboard, the Clan Leaders will be given a code to send to the clans.

Details –

How the clans will be divided up
The Clans will be divided based on defenses, troops level, and attacking/war experience. This isn’t to be mean to the newer players, actually quite the opposite. The clan with the strongest bases may very well be matched against top20 Clans like Hitmen or Quantum’s Web and I would hate to have a player feel useless because they get 3 starred by someone with level 40 heroes and have a lot of trouble earning stars against a maxed base. Don’t worry unless like 500 people sign up we can have a space in a clan for everyone. Don’t worry about the lower clans not having as many experienced players, several more experienced players will be placed in a lower clan to help out. You aren’t gonna be left by yourselves.

Rules
ALL FORUM AND INGAME RULES ARE TO BE FOLLOWED. THIS MEANS NO ‘UNDERHANDED TACTICS’ OF ANY KIND. Leaders and Coleader are responsible for watching the war page and watching replays for anything suspicious. Being caught breaking the rules is grounds for an immediate kick and replacement.

There is no age limit on the clans but everyone is expected to maintain a mature atmosphere. No drama, no whining, no insulting.

Donations are to be the maximum level the clan has to offer for War CCs, both defensive and offensive unless specified by the player. You are to donate only what is requested, CC trolling will not be tolerated.
The being said, if your are not doing a war attack at the time feel free to attack normally. Your base may also be farming or whatever until right before prep day ends. Saved War Bases are expected to be fully defensive. No townhalls outside, no townhalls right at the edge.

Attacks are expected to be for the 2 star unless OK'd by a Leader or CoLeader. We don’t want to see players leeching with Townhall picking(if the townhall is outside take the easy 2 star). You signed up because you want to be here. Noone is forcing you to participate but if you are here your clanmates will want you to try.

This is for fun! If a player makes mistakes, don’t be derisive be supportive! This is supposed to be both a fun experience and a learning experience for the community as whole! Insulting players will result in a kick.

If you don’t do well, don’t worry, no one will blame you. War is tough and not everyone has maxed troops.

The rule is that you can't join any non-mega clan. Forum events are usually involving clan, so no, you can't join events if they involve joining a clan

Pretty much. They lock you into a mega-only system for no reason whatsoever while their champs from the main two clans go wherever they please.
