its really hard with the waiting system .. hope supercell takes a peek at this
While I do agree, and I would like to see it implemented I have one weak argument against it and a potential alternative or addition to it.
The argument is this, would you really be able to command any king or queen to do anything if they didn't feel healthy? I understand that this is a game but on a "would it really happen in CoC world" level it is a reasonable question.
As an alternative/addition, instead of instantly ending combat at 100% it would be nice to be able to send in a healer after the buildings are destroyed (if there was more time left) to allow her to heal your king.

But being allowed to use the entire battle timer so you could use a healer to do it manually? It would require you to plan ahead and spend resources to make it possible. A strategy that not many would deploy, but it would have a benefit.
It hasn't been ruled out in any of the threads. I spent a LOT of time checking to make sure it was good to post. "But NFriesen, I saw the word "Hero" in a ruled-out thread, which has to mean yours is bad", Nope. If you're going to criticize me for my thread, provide significant evidence as to why. Below is a list of ruled-out Hero ideas that you probably confused with mine, because I know that mine isn't ruled out. Nice try though.

Being able to use your hero anytime will render regeneration rate gem and heal gem to be obsolete as people will not use them anymore......
i think it has been explained multiple times as it is simple and logical. "They want you to WAIT so you GEM if you don't want to WAIT" Supercell's main product is "TIME CUT". Probably the reason that they haven't ruled out this idea is that they don't have good reasons to say that this idea is bad other than it will cause SC loss. :p

Thanks for taking the time to link that all back in. What we are discussing here has not been ruled out anywhere that I can see. I am not proposing any additional hero altars, nor any specific hero by name. The idea here is to add new hero options available from the same altars with distinct advantages and disadvantages that can be switched so that only one is active at each altar. Any specific name I may have used was purely to provide context to the description of their dynamic. Honestly I could care less what their actual name or back story is.
I understand the money argument all to well. My original idea was to add an additional timer to switching a different hero. In theory this would encourage people to spend MORE gems if they don't want to wait for the hero to travel from whatever land they rule over normally.
