Hey, so I've been looking for a cheap-efficient army composition and I have seen people mentioning the Barch strategy alot. Well, I've been trying to use it but I seem to fail every time. I use 100 of each plus 5 wallbreakers, but the mortars and wizard towers take me out with ease. can anyone with knowledge on this strategy tell me how to deploy the troops effectively :confused:
It would help if you would describe how you're currently deploying them.
Use 80 barbarians 100-120 archers and some wb. Make a line of barbarians and then a line of archers behind them and so on. Then drop some wb.
Mortar MUST be one level below your archer for them to eat two hits.
Deploy a thin line of barbarian and immediately follow with lots of archer, also in a line. The archers should overwhelm the outer layer of defenses quickly, then blow up some walls to make way into the base. Deploy so that most splash defenses are taken care first, and you can throw everything you have afterward.
note: barbarians under healing spell can tear through anything that isn't inferno tower, mind that when enemy put a lot of splash tower near each other. Instead of demolishing the barbarians,they outheal the damage and proceed to rip apart the towers.
...true, you must avoid your troops clustering together....by drawing a line or deploying them in waves...use more than one finger to deploy and just play around, try out different deploying tactics...start with taking out collectors while your troops are under fire....how many of each do you need...etc. etc....on the whole your archers do the damage while your barbarians distract the defences and take the hits...a wizzie tower can be taken down, but not in one go, you'll need more than one attack wave....if your troops fulfill the requirements, check out BArch Rising (starting from 26th of May, recruitment thread in clan talk).

The keys are troops capacity (numbers of troops, the more the better) and speed of deploying the troops (so sweeping is a must and try with 1, 2, 3 & 4 fingers). If you haven't master Barch, you should try all archers first (its lot harder but will help u master it faster, beside archer is more important than barbs)Quote:

But i'll share the very basic step deploying barch (my own style of course)
Before deploying please understand this 4 point
1. Always lure CC before deploy, you can take the king or queen inside, but not a cc troops as you don't know what will come out from that castle
2. Choose the side or the corner you will enter (usually side), if possible clear the surround building in outer wall to prevent distraction when you focus to depth penetration
3. First, read the wall section & knowing your wb AI well give you more advantage.
Secondly is now how much wb you need to break that wall, for example if you have lv 5 wall breaker you need 2wb to break lv 8 wall, but you need 3 lv 4 wb to break lv 8 wall
4. Base on the point number 3, you can choose how many lane you'll open on first wall layer to reach the resources depth, if possible i always open 2 lane, sometimes 3 if the wall is trully low lv when i only need 1 wb or the base just surround by 1 wall without complicate section. the purpose to open as many lane as possible is to spread your barch so they can avoid heavy splash from mortar & wiz tower, 2 lane is ideal, keep the lane gap don't too close or don't too far. I'm not saying going through 1 lane will not work, but you need more effort and healing or rage spell is very helpful at this moment
After understand that you can imagine deploying your troops like a wave on the beach, come and go, come and go, that's how you deploy, hold & move your finger left-right-left right to deploy the barb, follow by archer like the way you deploy barbarian, send the wb immediately for opening lane to let your barch pass, then send your second wave of barch, follow by wall breaker too, use the spell if the battle going hard, and the third wave and so on. So you not deploy you barch in one stack but like a wave of troops that come again and again as long you not lost the momentum, if you lost the momentum your attack will end.
Usually my barch heavy on arch, and i like to bring about 20-30 goblin in case my barch not funnel to the resource that i want to loot
