Please convince me to upgrade my TH again

WARNING: for those who advice to max everything on TH9, please read carefully of my situation and please give good reason about it, if there is no reason just stay away... for anyone advice to max every TH, just please stay away... Lol...

Okay, so... after I complete the most expensive upgrades (splash, cc and xbows), and 52 pcs of my lava walls to protect my core, I think I'm done looting gold and I've begin to loot DE for my heroes.

So, instead of waited for another 3-4 months to upgrade my under-leveled tesla, cannon, archer towers and collectors, I've been thinking to move on to TH10 soon.

Here is the advantages:
- I will able to protect DE better using 3 xbows and 2 discos
- I will get 20 more space, so it's 4 balloon or 10 minions to my army
- I will get 5 more cc space
- I will get freeze spell and an extra spells slot
- Minions Lv.6, Wizard lv.6, Wallbreaker Lv.6

While the disadvantages is
- 40% decreased loot th8 and 10% decreased loot TH9
for TH8 I won't mind loosing ability to farm them since they just have 1 low lvl drills and It's rare to find th8 having more than 1.5K DE which is the lowest I will go in each raid.

In short, my defense will be much stronger, my attack will be stronger and I will loose slight 10% loot from raiding TH9 guys.

all my spells and my farming troops is already maxed (Giants, barb, archers, wb, wizard, minions) so I'm just waiting for my balloon to be finished before I press the upgrade button.

Is there something I missed? Any better reason so I have to press the button tonight? lol...

I'm currently at th9 as well and am a bit farther along than you defenses wise and have 2/3 Lego walls. Fully maxed defenses, heroes both at lvl 11, all elixir troops maxed, max spells, max minions, lvl 4 hogs, lvl1 all other de troops. I am thinking about saying screw the rest of my walls and heroes/de troops and rushing to th10, but I'm liking th9 quite a bit right now.

As as for you, I'd recommend at least maxing all of your defenses before upgrading, it does make a pretty big difference. In clan wars, I have been attacked 3 times in 9 wars, and in regular battles I rarely lose DE, so rushing the th upgrade wouldn't really do too much for me defensively. If those 20 extra slots (which will take 3 weeks to get) and the troops upgrades (over a month) are worth the loot penalty, go for it, but only if you can sustain a pretty high (2400) trophy count, otherwise you'll be getting hit harder by the loot penalty.

I would say go for it. That extra space will be worth it. You can loot the other TH10s who have tons of DE and then you can farm easily in masters too. Lott penalty won't effect you in master. Infernos are superb and will be awesome

Well, you already know you are gonna upgrade, so just go for it :). All your own arguments (DE farming) support the idea of upgrading anyhow, you just need us to confirm it. Your premmie journey post has been proof enough of your ability to reasonably argue a non-maxed upgrade and I think you have done it once again!

You will eventually want to farm Gold again and gaining access to some tricky th10's (all with 4 storages) but losing some easy th8 would be the only possible thing to stop you due to a potential slow down of gold income.

Having said this you are obviusly a good player who is active so you should probably go for it.

well, I think we're in different condition, I will finish legos during the TH construction. so I won't need gold anymore except for upgrading defenses. our heroes is at same lvl my BK is upgrading to 12, and AQ is upgrading to 13. the main purpose I go TH10 is because the DE for upgrading heroes. I'm farming DE now and see those who offer big amount of DE is TH10 guys and without freeze spells I almost have no chance to break them.

I can't wait to max my def, because it will takes too long... it will require 3-4 months again to max them because I just have lv.3-4 tesla, lv.9 cannon and lv.8 AT.

my original plan is to press the button once the balloon lv.6 is done...
as I still have lv.3 balloon now and my lab is upgrading them, so I still have 2+5+10 days to wait... Lol..

I'm looking for any idea if I should stick to my plan or I must click the button earlier... lol...

I'm going for DE, so there is just 1 storage to break ... :cool:

so, my current raid TH8 is giving me 270K (3 storage) each raid
and If I just aim for 2 storage of TH9, it will be 160K each raid

I will just need few gold to upgrade my defence, so getting half amount of gold as I'm now is more than fine because I don't plan to upgrade the expensive walls anymore

I've tried farming in Master last season. This is where you can get at least 15-20 k DE daily. What I saw, if you got a couple of infernoes at any given level below Master, you'd pretty much secure. No matter if you got level 3 or 11 cannons. So defense wise, what you need is simply those infernoes.

However, this went same with your targets. Try to raid a DE storage between 3 x- bows and 2 disco infernoes, it'll be a hell. Pit in the spells to equation, you got your chance. Thing is, with spells like Rage or Freeze, you won't be farming every 10 minutes anymore. If that's OK with you, go on.

It's been a month in TH10...
All I can say is I'm very happy with it... And million thanks for who that convince me to upgrade.
