I've been playing this game for like a year now. I always wondered why when your troops don't die in a raid they don't just go back to their camps. Escpecially since I've been playing boom beach and they do this on that game. I think they should make an update to change this. It would help people save elixir so they wouldn't have to keep making troops.
You do know that boom beach is boom beach and clash of clans is clash of clans.Imagine a do a giant healer strategy.So many times alot of giants are left and my healer(s).it would make the training of troops soo cheapQuote:

No. Part of the reason you do not gain the troops back is so that you use your resources to build a new army. If you could get your same troops back after an attack, you would be able to attack/raid over and over with little expended.
Building a new army forces you to use your troops wisely. If you could just release 200 troops and keep the 50+ that didnt die you would have an unfair advantage.
This idea, i am fairly certain was rejected as an unfair attack advantage. If they did this, they would also need to make traps never need to be re-set, clan castles never need refilling.
I think your being a bit of an ♥♥♥♥ to be honnest, i like this idea, there would be no advantages except you save your troops that did not die!Quote:

I think that having CC troops who don't die on defense stay in the castle is a good compromise, considering offense is overpowered in this game, this is a good way to throw a bone to defense, and wisely placed clan centralized clan castles.

Have you guys played their game boom beach? It would work just like on there where the troops that didn't die just go back to your ships/camps. There is no advantages to anything. You will still have to make troops that did die. It would just help save up more elixir that's all.Quote:
