Farming / Trophy hunting at TH8 in Crystal.

Hey guys,

I decided last week that I want to try out the Gold 1/Crystal 3 leagues for farming resources (mostly DE). I'm currently at TH8, 225 purple walls, weak air defenses, but most other towers at max for TH8.

What I want to ask the more experienced players is this: "What attacking strategy should I use to farm?"

So far it's been going quite decent with barch (8 lvl 5 wallbreakers, 3 lvl 4healing spells, level 5 king, random number of lvl 5 Barb/Arch). I've managed to farm quite some DE, and other resources from some dead bases, but also from active bases with exposed DE collectors and storages.

I've been reading about some of the higher level tactics, such as GoWiWi and GoWiPe, and also balloonians. I'm aware of the composition of the first two, but I have no idea what the balloonians tactic uses (i'm guessing there are other troops besides balloons involved ^^)

Also, another tactic that really seems viable to me is hog riders - 20 hogs, 3 healing spells, 4 wallbreakers, 12 wizards, the rest Barb/Arch. I only have level 1 hogs, so is this tactic viable?
