Valkyrie Ideas :: How to Improve the Least Used Troop in the Game.
Welcome to my thread on how I believe Valkyries, commonly thought as the worst and most underused troop in the game, can be made better so more people will hopefully use them.
• Faster Training Time.15 minutes is much too long for troop as underpowered as the Valkyrie. Maybe reducing the time to five minutes is more suitable.
• Improving attack speed.One area in which the Valkyrie falls short is it's slow attack speed. One whirl of her battle-axe does do splash damage, which makes her a considerable foe in clan castle for defense. However, because she attacks so slow, a troop like, say, a Wizard will take out a Valkyrie before she gets a hit on him- even after she arrives in a suitable position to do so.
• Lowered Troop Cost.70 Dark Elixir is very costly for a level 1 troop with such little impact in a fight. When it comes to max Valks, the cost is, I believe, 150 dark elixir: which is very expensive for 8 housing spaces. While each Valkyrie takes up about 20 DE per housing space, the overpowered Hawg Ridaah costs about half the DE per housing space as a even leveled Valk. For how much Valkyries cost, they are a no-no especially for lower town halls, specifically 8's, a place where the Dark Elixir storage often runs dry.
• Healing In-Raid.I believe that the Valkyrie should have an in-battle healing method similar to the Warrior of Boom Beach. If you did not know, each time the Warrior's hammer strikes, the Warrior is healed by a small amount. This would considerably buff the Valkyrie, leading to more in-game use and a whole plethora of new attack stratagies.
