To be able to only get 32% and still get to your de storage displays that you probably need to rethink your base design with de storage in the middle that should deter some de farmers

I suggest building a terrible base and get hit by terrible players more often who still find a way to collect none of your loot and not snipe your th using 27 giants and three rage spells...

Make a new base or spend the de.. Youre a th8 so its harder for you to defend.. Why ask supercell for help?
According to your war log, you're getting hit by a lot of th9 or th10's. At th8, your defenses can only do so much. Just try making a base that emphasizes DE storage protection , even if you're exposing your other resource buildings. Point is though, if there is a th9 or th10 that wants your DE, more than likely they will get it.
I agree trophy range is part of it. You are right where a lot of th9s farm for gold, but they won't pass up that kind of dark elixir either...
Your layout and defense looks better then mine and I had three defends last night.
Maybe people that attack me are dumb...
Some person did 100% me a bit ago though, I think I ticked them off because I took like 1100 dark elixer and 22500 gold, they got less dark elixir then I took from them >XD
Then again, my king and castle is not really pullable unless you hogrider (Or send in a few barbs at one spot and wait for the king to stand just right, someone did that)

you dont want to lure troops closer to your DE.
Gold 2 is where you have to go to steal a reasonable amount of DE, but this is the price one has to pay. I was recently saving for my BK to lvl 9 upgrade and there just isn't much you can do to protect DE. I modified my base numerous times but a skilled attacker with TH9 troops was always able to punch in after it. I did get a few snipes and added a few sessions of raids so I could get over the hump to get the upgrade done. I think so long as you have over 25k de you should expect to face big armies and have lots of DE stolen.Quote:

I went to TH9 well before the level you're at and never regretted it for a second. Just be ready to farm elixir (the purple kind) for the first several weeks.
There's not much that you can do about it, there are always people who have better troops etc and can run over you if they want to put the effort in. I'm TH7 in Gold 2 and only ever seem to get attacked by TH8 or better, there isn't a whole lot I can do to defend against it so my strategy is just to raid a lot more. If I raid 5 times and get raided back once, I should still be coming out ahead on the loot front.
