Tag a member as "Inactive"

Hi there :)

Abstract

Leaders and co-leaders should be able to tag a member as inactive. Inactive members could not join clan wars. Only a certain amount of players could be tagged as inactive or a minimum number of active players would be required to start a war.

Current Situation

I believe I speak for all of us when I say that we all have members who we would rather not kick out of the clan as they've been there like forever. These members have always been loyal and respectful. However, due to their recent inactivity, whether it's because of laziness or holidays, our clan wars are suffering. We are basically facing a 40 vs 50 wars and so on. This is solely because some members are inactive or not active enough to attack in clan wars.

Solution

By giving us the ability to tag a member as Inactive, we would avoid a lot of trouble. No more lost clan wars due to inactivity. Inactive members would not join wars nor would they be able to request troops. They would simply be part of the clan as usual. They could still donate troops and chat. Only the leader and co-leaders could change their status.

Edit nr 1.

To avoid possible abusing, only a certain number of players could be tagged as Inactive or a minimum number of players would be required to start a clan war. This is to avoid having wars with only the strongest members in it.

Edit nr 2.

Not sure if the disabling the ability to request troops for inactive players is really required. This is because basically the ones you tag inactive are the ones you want to keep in the clan, so why would you want to make their life harder in the clan ;)

Goal

A more clear, happy, less frustrating atmosphere in every clan. More management abilities for the leaders. Simply, overall better clans.

You can right click on the gold mine and see if it is full. If it is full then they are inactive.

Not sure if you're trolling, but I suggest you read the full proposal :D

This has actually been ruled out, in the stickies it says that you can't have any indicator if a person is on or not, privacy issues. So I'm the only one who voted no (read the stickies)?

I don't think this is quite that. This is more like the Elder and Co-Leader "tagging". Very useful stuff.

So basically embargo them? A better solution, kick them.

You didn't read the topic? I stated that we all have members we would rather not kick. Don't you?

Sure you can kick inactive members, but you'd rather keep the "family" alike members, just because they are inactive during holidays or something, harmful to wars and stuff doesn't mean you want to get rid of them.

Why will tagging them as inactive help anything then, other than it being abused in most cases? A better solution, Opt Out button in clan wars as this seems to be the only reason you want it..

Tagging them as inactive = they will not participate in clan wars nor will they be able to request troops. This means that if your clan has 40 players, you'd be having a war against other 40 players, however you have 4 inactive members it means that your clan would be in war 36 vs 40, but due to this system they would only seek 35 vs 35 wars for your clan. Thus there would no more be lost wars due to inactive members. :)
