Clan name change

Send a clan mail once you know all the members there are trustworthy, informing of the new clan name, then go make a new clan. Put it on invite only, so only your members join. Next, do exactly the same, move everyone to a new clan b sending a mail and moving.

Or you can move once, all in one go. But make sure everyone has left, so the clan goes dud and disbands and no one can join to see where you have all gone.

If it is as serious as it sounds, you should have no problem making this a viable solution at least.

You could just close the clan and then the only way for people to join is by invite. They wouldn't even be able to request to join.
