Clan name change

So, recently we have had an issue with a group of people who are stalking and harassing our members. One of our members was a victim of abuse (stalking, harassment and attempted murder) to which she has had to change her entire life around. We have filed police reports and have tried contacting supercell, to no avail thus far.

our first step is a simple name change to the clan to help curb these people from finding and joining.
we have a good war record and group of people, so we dont want to lose out on any of those because some kids want to be idiotic.

is this a viable option, given the situation? This is a serious issue with some of us due to one of our members history. We want to help protect her and make her feel safe. Its also ruining the game for a lot of us.

What on earth? How can someone joining your clan escalate to an attempt at murder? Either way, I'm not sure supercell allows you to change your clan name.

Considering your name is DeezNuts and you are talking about attempted murder on a clan member, Im gonna calls false. If she was really tried to be murdered by these harassers, you called them kids, and I dont think that kids and attempted mureer adds up. Also she shouldn't have given out personal info. There is no point to this thread as there are obvious solution. This whole post is completely contradictory as well. Lets say your serious, then all you have to do is change your clan to invite only. If you dont like that, just make a new clan and kick everybody and tell them the new clan name. I dont see the problem and I dont see how this is plausible...

NoelyDeezNutz has been my online handle for 10+ years now... Its not changing anytime soon and it doesnt invalidate any of my postings.

Our clan is invite only. But we still get the requests to join almost daily from this group of kids.

We have screen shots that we provided to the police of the threats and 25+ times of trying to join the clan... It gets tedious to have to deal with the ♥♥.

The offending group, are kids. They range from 15-19, they are from connecticut and I have all of their personal info (addresses, facebook, phone numbers, etc)
Ive called their parents, to no avail.

Just make a new clan with the new name and have evryone come over...

And how did these kids (who just happen to be murderers) find the clan in the first place? Also, did you think police would do anything about people threatening you in a game, especially when you don't exactly have proof of their identity? The Facebook account could be of someone other than the guy joining your clan.

Okay thanks for clearing it up. Still just deny their requests, they cant say too much in the request message. Their threats mean nothing dont worry about it. And why did they give your their personal info... What the hec

I dont know how personal info got out. But it did.

Ummm, I read it and still don't get it. She was harassed before the clan, than how did the clan she was in?
