What the hell, i thought xbows were gonna be the best defense out there as it is one of the most expensive buildings ingame. I got attacked and my base was wiped completely BECAUSE MY LV6 WIZARD TOWERS AND LV6 MORTARS WERE SLEEPING!! ♥♥♥ man i want my money refunded

This happens when your X-Bow annihilated your enemies before your Mortars and Wiz Towers can do anything.
Try positioning them differently.

You generally have a few choices...
1. Quit, please do so leaving all your resources un-guarded.
2. Re-design your base to match better with the way the game works.
3. Moan like hell, where nothing will be done...but please do this in the appropriate manner, and without resorting to telling ppl in abbreaviations to shut the 'derp' up... unless you would like a forum holiday.
Pls dont assume xbows guarantee you a win. They shoot very fast and the best way to have them is separate them from the rest of your defense. Keep them outside your main circle then you should be okay.

And just FYI there is no such thing as an unbeatable defense in this game. That's why all the top ten players have to cheat just so that they never go on defense.
Ok look guys, i love this game because i can design a village however i want it. Because these defense buildings have a conflict and cant work how it should be.
I loveattacking basesthat arechallenging and different, wouldnt it become boring if everyoneis forced to build the same base because that works the best and doesnt have conflicts with mrtar/wiz tower?

This is why my xbows are outside of my walls so they rethefirst to be taken out. My wiz and mortars are on the inside protecting my storages.
I agree it needs to be fixed. When a wiz starts to load up a shot it should fire at that spot even if the attacker gets killed in the meantime.
Sometimes the mortar and the wizard tower get sleepy. Unlike the xbow, which is hyped up on apple juice.
But it's fun to see Wizards do the Harlem shake when I raid TH9s. It's just hilarious. :cool:

I agree with OP in the case of xbows interfering with WTs and mortors is a problem. $hit sucks.
But sometimes you just have to adapt and overcome buddy.

supercell refuse to fix the misfire issue, i've tried countless times to report it in the bug section only to have supersteve close the thread and link me to some other thread with people complaining about it. the only way around it is to position your xbows away from mortars and wiz towers. i prefer to have the xbows centered and the other stuff on the outer layers.
You aren't going to get a refund, it's YOUR fault that you gemmed it.

@OP, hang in there. I have had two X-bows since they were introduced... And you just have to fiddle with your base until they don't conflict with your other defenses. The conflict between defensive buildings and the coordination amongst them are, in my humble opinion, the most important aspect of defense... much more so than "just" walls, which I find too many people obsess over rather simplistically.
Obviously, they all work in tandem, walls included, but ... there is a known x-bow (and tesla for that matter) rapid fire conflict vs. wiz tower. I tend to view as the wizard drank too much and is dry heaving at the toilet. It's been known for months, frankly. A little fiddling and you'll be fine.

you know, this doesnt happen with xbows only, the wiz tower and mortar need some tweaking so they will shoot anyway. If you have some teslas near mortar or wiz tower same problem occurs sometimes.Quote:
