About moving the spring traps and bombs around though, I believe that would help keeping the hogs away even more :)

The base looks good but i think the spring traps can be better placed? Anyone suggestions? I was attacked by a TH10 and most of the spring traps didnt send those hogs flying.

Look what I suggested above about moving the spring traps to a more effective place :rolleyes: :p

Has anyone tried this base around master III or master II? Also has anyone with a maxed th9 tired it? I'd love to know how it does!

It's a very nice anti hog base! But, it can be easily 1-stared using BARCH.

Here is my modified version of this base. I've only been using it for a few days now, but have been watching the defensive replays, and making a few tweaks along the way. Been getting a lot of compliments from my clan as well.

Given, I am mid to upper level TH9 and prefer to stay in Gold 1 for now. So my adjustments haven't yet been tested in Crystal and above as of yet.

I haven't had a full all-hog attack as of yet either. Mostly hog/giant attacks. But this setup has proven so far to be effective against most anything that has been thrown at it. So far no one has gotten more than 1 star on it, and none have made it to TH or DE storage yet. So it's been effective in keeping all attackers in the outside ring so far.

Adjustments:
• Split up the heroes pads - they were originally on the bottom and top right sides. I had people attacking from the left and not alerting the heroes until they made it quite a ways around the base. This also meant splitting up the DE Drills as I like to keep them separated when possible.

• Pulled the wiz towers and AD back in just a row. I wanted to put just a little more distance between the outer ring and these defense to avoid archers/wizards taking them out prematurely. Also dropping a dragon(s) right on top of the AD when it's on the outside like that renders it pretty useless as you can just take it out immediately. I've used all dragon attacks often in CW and when I see bases with AD sitting on the outside like that it's a bonus as I can take them out immediately.

• Moved the spring traps over one slot closer to the wall. This I found will catch giants or hogs better as they will often hit that outside trap when heading for the teslas.

Curious to hear any feedback about the revisions I've made. All in all a great and effective defense so far! I've had 30+ DE for a few days and it's protected it every time so far.

I'm not sure but pulling defenses back would make the CC lurable i guess.

Just been 3 starred earlier today in war by golems, pekkas, and other regular troops. Hasn't held up to atks yet and haven't been hogged but I'm not gonna give it another chance.

JUST created this base hour or so before war. Got three starred from balloons & dragons. First time being attacked but got attacked by the opposing clans #1. Max everything. My ad was lvl 6. Not sure if lvl7 would have helped. Will give base another week or so to see how it holds up.
