I lost 60 diamonds when I accidentally tapped tom's service for 5 days when I just want to close it thinking that I tapped the "no thanks" box, I thought the diamond confirmation works everywhere that will let you pay diamonds, from 102 my diamonds depleted to 42, please help me to retrieve and refund my 60 diamonds. Thank you and more powers in updating Hay Day to a better game, hope this will not happen to anyone again. :)
I checked diamond confirmation since I started playing hay day, I knew that I can lost diamonds acciddentally since my mom also plays this game and she told me to do so.

I dont need that link, I already know that there is that diamond confirmation settings since I started playing about a week ago, again, my mom told me so to check that settings. I need an administrator's help or anyone that can help me to let a game admin know about this incident. But still thank you for trying to help Holidae :)Quote:

I'm a fellow player who knows how you feel! There are daily complaints in here about diamond loss, so far I haven't seen anyone be successful in their complaints.
This is just me, a fellow player not a mod or admin or anything, replying but for what it's worth:
It wasn't your fault. There is nothing in the game that explains that the double tap confirmation does not work in all situations. They have chosen to leave some areas without any safeguard against an accidental tap, and they have neglected to explain the confirmation process. It is misleading, to put it kindly.
I was also caught that way. It is something that supercell seem to be refusing to address and it is time they did!
Tom can be handy. If you are going to use Tom now that you have accidentally hired him, remember that he can only be used every 2 hours. Use him to get some expensive or rare things, like diamond rings for example, at least that way you can make some coins in the shop, and were you to make a diamond ring you would be using a diamond so at least you can feel you are getting some extra use of your diamonds. Other people may have better advice for you re Tom. If you have the mine open, you might find that buying cheap shovels from Tom will result in gaining some of those diamonds back if you dig the mine.
My sympathies on the diamond loss. Really it is not your fault but now that it has happened don't let irritation stop you from making the best of the situation. And beware, it will happen again so easily, on a different part of the game probably.

PS Since my mistaken hire of tom, I have hired him again, this time on purpose. He is great. Once bitten twice shy and all that, I hope not to make any more errors, forced or otherwise; but there are worse things to lose diamonds on, and the game is so good that I really hope you don't let this spoil your fun.
I refuse to purchase diamonds with real money when the confirmation system is not yet adequate.
Yes, I dont think supercell will help me, as what am I seeing on this forum, they really dont do help about these incidents as if they created their game perfectly.
And about the thing you've said, unfortunately, my farm level was just lvl 25, and just started building the mine, well maybe the next day I will do what you just said, thank you :)
I hope you have some fun with it anyway. And If you haven't already done so, you could read the tips on here for optimising your search for the red chests, I hope you find lots of diamonds that way!!
(It might be worth opening a thread in the new player section asking for any tips on using tom, if you are looking for tips, that is. I always forget that once you order something from him then you have to remember to collect it too, otherwise he just stands there waiting with it, which eats into your time. And ore that you collect from the mine won't make many coins, but with a smelter it can be used for gold/silver bars. I used him once to find 9 cheap feta, then my dairy was freed up to stock up on the other stuff and my farm began to settle into a smooth operation. One mistake i made was to order stock from him and then have no coins to pay....but a quick sell in the shop sorted me out..I am still experimenting and learning.)
Upon reviewing the link to Cricks post I supplied previously, you'll see another link to a thread that provides details regarding where the double tap confirmation is enabled. It is enabled in those particular places because prior to implementation, confirmation for those actions did not exist.
All other locations in which diamonds may be used display the large alert message informing farmers that diamonds will be used if they continue the process.
