I think a nice addition to Clan Wars would be the addition of an MVP on the winning side. The leader would get to choose at the end of the war and said MVP would be granted extra loot. Just a thought if anyone has any ideas to contribute or just hates it feel free to share :)
Not bad, but what if the leader just gave MVP to his second account? Would it be proportional to their base strength? This can't really be abused because clan wars take two days. Maybe give them a +50% for their war loot bonus. Good idea!Quote:

It could be unfair to the leader's clanmates because he didn't choose the others as well.
While I am a fan of rewarding excellence myself I don't know how one person could be singled out reliably. We often have more than one member who gets six stars. Do you have a proposed method of singling them out systematically? Something like "((((target 1 war rank + target 2 war rank)/2)/ your war rank) x total stars) = MVP score" might work by taking into account the relative quality targets and your success against them. How did you envision the MVP being selected? Also, what would the reward be? One of the few times SC grants gems is to the top players of the top clan each season. Perhaps the players with the highest cumulative MVP score for a season are rewarded with a few gems or were you thinking an instant Gold/Elix/DE reward for each war?Quote:

What if every clan participant voted on who they though was the MVP of the clan war on either side. The one who gets the most votes would get the MVP prize. Maybe the MVP prize could be the added up total of all resources on one side.
the winner gets 75% of the winnings! the losing MVP receives 25%.??
What if the losing clan's leader chooses the MVP? That way there's no partiality unless he won't choose the obvious best simply because he failed against him, but that's called a jerk. Really tho, this is a good idea for there to be MVPs :) I like it
If that equation meets your criteria go ahead and use it. If nothing else it is a good foundation that the developers could build upon. I can already see a potential flaw in it, but it is math. Just a matter of altering the equation. As for clan vote as a method I fear it would often be days before all the votes were in and it would be subject to corruption/influence. If there was a reward (particularly gems) there would be room for exploitation and serious dissension amongst the ranks. Having the other clan's leader nominate the MVP is an interesting idea. It would not accommodate a cumulative rank for a season level reward like clan rank does, but it could work for immediate war rewards.Quote:

If it was systematic and had had a "season" gem reward for the top 3 players or top 3 players in a clan (similar to but less than the top rated clan gem reward) it could greatly encourage more players to participate in wars. That is to say, a bottom 20% in a clan player has an equal chance to a top 20% in a clan to be at the top of the list. The equation I am working on would give a weak player a higher score for 3 staring a strong player, and a strong player a low score for 3 staring a weak player. The idea is to identify who used their strength to the best benefit of the war effort in a purely arbitrary way.
