Diamond Defense - TH8 Farming Layout

Need input on this layout from a farmers perspective. Pics from my base and the layout tool builder.

Note: I have JUST made this design, I have zero data on how well it holds up to assaults. Open to suggestions on how to improve this layout, move around traps, etc.

AD aren't in a properly triangle

there is an X-junction, try to fix it

Needs better segmentation of storages. Break one wall and gobs can wipe out 1/3 of all your loot, 3 walls for all of it.

I can take 2/3 of your loot with barb/arch/goblin + some WBs.

Thanks for the input guys. Assuming your WB/Arch/Barb/Gob push would be from the south, does this trap placement and moving around some of the buildings help to combat that?

this one is better, but I still prefer to have 2 walls in front of the resources I want to safe.

Thanks. I'm just trying to make sure my traps come into play and can have a deciding impact. Such as the giant bombs in front of the resources to wipe a large group of barbs/archers/goblins in one big boom, and the spring traps placed in front of defenses to combat giant/healer combos.

Since the most likely point of attack is from the south, I can essentially shift my focus on luring an opponent into those traps and put a kibosh on a good chunk of their assault early in the fight.

What about a simple change like this....?

I assume there is potential, with that new and open "least path of resistance" to funnel in some wallbreakers, barbarians, goblins and giants into multiple cross-fire from splash damage defenses, and away from the walls to the storage areas (which are already trapped as it is where they are most likely to attempt entry)

This layout terribly hurts my eyes.

Too big compartments. Troops will walk through your base easily.

Point defenses are too far. Most of them can't cover the significant parts of your base.

Ugly wall arrangement. Read about wallbreakers' AI and splash.
