So, here's my theory:

I haven't done much research on this but, I believe most people that play this game are students(high school, middle school, college, etc). Also, I believe most of the people live in the United States.

Next month is the final month of school for student still in school in the US (Idk about other places) which means that once schools out, everyone is going to start playing again and be more active.

BUT, the time before schools out is something i believe every school here in the united states has which is final exams. so that means loot is going to be pretty good while mostly every student would be studying instead of playing (including me)

Also, if you have been playing since last summer, i am 99% sure that this summer will not be the same due to all the loot tweaks supercell has made

That is a good, damning point. More competition for the same loot means less loot for everyone else. And I was thinking TH10 in the next month or so. Maybe I'll delay it even more...

Unless SuperCell are nice and flick on the 1 gem resourse boosts to balance it up.

wow, i actually never thought of that....All i thought about summer and clash was that my income would go up....That is a great point....

That'll be great if they do a 1 gem boost on resources the whole summer haha

Or consider the fact the amount of kids that go on vacation in the summer.

That too is true, hopefully enough to balance the others who will be playing twice as much.

Ya but not for three months and vacation often means time playing clash too for many.

It will be tricky although colleges students probably will have summer jobs and such to keep them occupied some of the time.

This might make the lower leagues a pain but maybe not as much effect on higher leagues where age group probably starts tilting more toward older players in general (having to work). Of course there are many exceptions but just saying in general.

The effect on the forums is much much worse.
