Lost village for a month now

After reading the forums I came to the understanding that my ticket wouldn't be answered until 2-4 weeks after submission and at that time I should post if it has not been resolved by then...... well here I am ticket #2882813. I even provided the playerID # of the village I was trying to get restored due to a submission from a previous support request. I understand that there are a lot of tickets especially after clan wars started but if customer service is this far behind maybe it would be prudent to hire more tech support personnel. This microtransaction game is being reported by Supercell to be bringing in over a million dollars a week. Please look into my ticket.

I lost my village on Monday, ticket number 3246358.... I don't think my clan will want to carry an inactive for a week let alone a month, it will screw up their wars! I have spent loads of time and money on this game. I really hope i can get back to my place soon! I can see the mines need emptying and the builders idle..... This has never happened in a almost a year!

Im3.16mil and 4/28 was my request n everywhere I saw said at least a month so gl... I was undefeated in clan wars n lost the one I dropped in. .. It totally sucks

If so, then I find your attitude very flippant and rude. For clarity, I do not work in IT although I have employed programmers in my business and I find it hard to believe that editing a couple of details in the back end of the programme should take over a month! I work in a customer facing role and if I sent out emails and letters like your last post I would be strung up!


When i replaced my ipad in the apple store i was reassured that everything was backed up, and i assumed that my CoC account was backed up through my Apple ID, an ID that has deposited a large amount of money in super cells account over the last year.


Furthermore, the whole concept of this game (unlike GTA or COD who use expensive fast action graphics) is it's addictive quality. As someone who has been hooked for over a year, to be left high and dry without any support is very galling. I have three suggestions that may elevate this problem for supercell and other players who may find themselves in the same position as me.

Firstly, you could link the CoC accounts through the Apple ID, it seems to work for cash payments, why not through the game. Secondly, you could post reminders to back up villages via the gamecentre or google play. This could be done via the internal messaging inbox or as a notification when the game is booting up, we all know upgrading walls slows down the enemy.... What we don't know is we will lose our villages if not backed up in a particular way. Thirdly, i understand from your website that you are very profitable.... You could be more so if you offered to pay your team overtime for expediting members requests to restore their villages. I suggest 1,000 gems would be appropriate, but i would gladly pay much more to get my problem resolved asap.

I would greatly appriciate an employee of supercell acknowledging my emails, requests and suggestions... I look forward to your response! Tom Savage

I posted this over a week ago plus my month of waiting before I posted and yet still no reply. Five weeks with not even so much as a dev updating me on an approximate time frame. I guess I will join the growing list of people bumping daily just so my post doesn't get lost on page 500.

I have read that thread, submitted my ticket with all of the required information + more, waited patiently, posted after a month as I have seen the devs ask people to do, and still no reply.

But now seeing all the problems caused by the update I am realizing I probably just got pushed back another couple weeks.

Although there is a small support presence on the forums, they do not actively perform CS duties via the forums, only through the in-game reporting or e-mails to support, where you received your ticket number and entered the queue.

From there, they are are worked through via the ticket numbers.

Unfortunately, as you discovered, being attached to Gamecenter or Google+ is your only recovery method. Without that, you will have to wait for your ticket number to come up in the queue.

The queue varies based on case load, and right now the queue is quite lengthy.

I'm sorry twister is it my understanding that when Shiv and KL request that people post here after they have completed the required steps through support wrong then? Are they not associated with your company, because I was under the impression that they are. I understand the wait times in the queue are quite lengthy, that's why I gave it a month before even posting here. Now it has been going on 2 weeks since that time. Six weeks to get a response let alone no resolution can try the patience of anyone and I believe that this needs to be addressed.

twister can you at least tell me where I am in the queue? Also I got a PM from a new user by the name posiden that is making it sound like he is associated with supercell and would be glad to "help" me if I gave him my user account email and password...... not gonna happen.

six weeks now and the best I've gotten was a mod telling me not to bump.

Unfortunately our support queues are extremely full at the moment and you'll have to wait until we can address your case. It's quite important to use, but there are many people waiting for lost village recoveries and other problems, and we cannot skip your case up the queue at this time.
