Ash: If your having trouble with trophies, I suggest you find a good transformer base. Use the search button to find them. After that, push up to gold 2, you'll start seeing a lot of DE.

The cheapest and fastest way to farm is to use BARCH- Barbarians and Archers although it requires practice to get the loot because barbarians and archers unlike goblins don't go directly for resources. Also 1200 trophies is a desert in terms of amount of loot for TH 8 go up to gold 2 that's the sweet spot these days. :)Quote:

Well, I won't recommend dropping lightnings on Dark Elixir storages, but if you want to find storages with loads of dark elixir, go to at least crystal 2 and up. This is where you'll find 2-3 k dark elixir raidable within 10 or so searches each.Quote:

I recently upgraded to TH9, after maxing out all upgrades except for walls first. I am discouraged and ready to quit because the raids give way too little loot for the upgrades I need to do at TH9. I think maybe my trophy count is way too low? Not sure, but I have always raided in the 1000-1200 trophy range up until this point. Here is what I have now, and am looking for suggestions to maximize farming (all resources). Thanks for any help!

I have just upgraded from a TH8 about 2 days ago and everything was maxed before I upgraded except walls (they are VERY low, pink with half purple).... which I regret now, and loot was decent for me at TH8, but now it has gotten worst.
My main question is... What should I have my cup range at and should i change army comp to something different?
And what army comp would be the best comp to push for cups if I need to raise them? which I probably do.

Hmmm it might be VERY risky but if you're wall farming why not try sub 200? Loot penalty is very small for a TH 6 down there even up against TH 5 noobs.Quote:

I forgot to say that I am trying to finish my walls to lvl 5, I have about 35 walls left which could take me up to 1M gold in total, if I finish my walls I can finally have a max lvl 5 town hall and upgrade to town hall lvl 6, I never seem to find gold loot and when I do they are very strong. :(Quote:

Mass dragons isn't going to be profitable unless you go to at least 2100 trophy. If you want to use it, you can do with 8 dragons and 20 minions to lure castle troops and mop up.Quote:

- I normally go with a "2 tier" army where I either collector raid and/or TH snipe with just my Archers/Barbs/Gobs/Mins, or I do a full out assault where I also deploy Giants/WBs/BK. Normal army: 33 barbs (lvl5) / 49 Archers (lvl5) / 12 gobs (lvl5) / 8 minions (lvl2) / 14 giants (lvl5) / 10 Wb (lvl5). Been considering Loons/Minions and uping the trophies but I've never ran it b4.

- I'm normally able to locate resources and have been able to score 3+ million gold in a day, but it's been unusually dry over the last few days. Despite "nexting" through lots of bases yesterday and this morning, I didn't find anything over 120k gold that didn't involve high TH9 through TH10 bases. I normally don't consider 120k gold worth deploying the full army for, but after not turning up anything else I started to regret not just taking anything I could get. of course, I kept thinking "it'll start to get better next click".
I need pretty much everything currently - Gold, Elix and DE...
