Add players to friend list

Hello,

I recently thought about looking for a different clan because of the clan wars. I want to play it more competitively than my clan does. My main concern is that I will not be able to come in contact with these members I have spent my past 6 months with. I could ofcourse check back with the clan, but if other members would also leave there, it would be impossible to find them.

I am aware that it is possible to get back to them by adding them on facebook or gmail friends. I have no interest in this as I want to keep this separated.

It would be great to have the option to send friend requests or make bookmarks of players so I can also find them, check their progress or maybe even join their new clan. Along with this functionality it might also be nice to implement a message system, but I can see some issues (harassment) with this.

Please let me know what the rest of you think about this idea for a friendlist.
