As the rule reads in player organized in game event needs SC permission IF you want to advertise it on the forums. So I'd imagine those need permission as well.Quote:

OP the last two contests didn't gain much support from the forum community so i'd suggest dropping the idea to be honest, people might just not be ready.
On that rule my interpretation of it is it is intended to ban commercial contests i.e. contests that either make money or offer money as prizes. I don't see any problem at all with members creating contests for fun.
Forum games is full of fun contests.
