It's typically updated once a month
Like 3-4 weeks.
It use to be about once a month, recently though it was once in 2 months
roughly every 6 weeks

TRAPS UPGRADABLE November 6th
VILLAGE EDIT September 30th
PLAYER PROFILES August 28th

now who really knows, but it's hard to claim it's monthly when the last monthly update was 6 months ago.
Before the end of May? Maybe?

Marika once said somewhere that the update times should be back to normal soon. The reason it has been 2-3 months lately is because they were putting all the work on Hero Abilities and Clan Wars. After the Clan Wars update they are going back to smaller changes in the game like new troops/spells, new levels and new features. My guess is the new update is in around 2 and a half weeks.
