Title says it all, but is spell queuing really needed?
Personally i feel the system of how spells work right now is perfectly fine, but some people have been complaining about it and i would like to see other people's opinion on it, thanks.

Yep. I made a few posts and topics on it but nothing ever comes from it. If you spend 20 minutes looking for a base to attack that should be 20 minutes off the cook time of a spell.
I believe I was the first person to propose this and it is now on the ruled out ideas.

Why can't we queue spells like we can with troops? It used to be because we could store away gold. Now that they are using elixir, let us queue them up again!
The stated reason, which we've posted multiple times, is that there is no way to sort the queue, so you may end up with spell configs that you didn't want. Since there is a cancellation cost, this would upset a lot of players. If we end up removing the cancel cost, then maybe we could set it up to be queued. No decisions have been made on this.
And on "ruled out"
Whats with the massive list of features that you won't add to the game?
For us "ruled out" is more like "ruled out for now." Sure, there are things on that list we will probably never consider, but the ruled out list has more to do with things we are "not currently considering" than things we will never consider. We think it's good practice to stay focused and be very realistic about what we're considering as viable additions to the game, and what we're not. I wouldn't be surprised if one or more things from the list do eventually make it into the game

If you want an easy read go about half down the page. It was organized into an easier to digest format.
Something needs to change. Spells are no longer the nice to have boost they once were, they are now an esential part of every raid and their high cost and time to create causes a lot of issues in particular issues caused by strong players being forced to farm in low cup ranges and issues to do with balancing defenses between pushers and farmers.
Would be an nice addition to the game, but sadly ruled out :(
