With ground troops there are two splash tower defenses, the mortars and wizard towers. But for air defense towers there are none, my idea is:

Wizard towers DO hit airborne targets, and especially devastating to minions...
Adding a splash effect to the existing AD would render the baloons and minions useless as ADs have insane DPS and tremendous range.
Too OverPowered...
Could work but might be slightly op as balloons group together in massive clump and could be taken out easily.
I suggest :
Have two modes for the airdefense like infernos and xbows.
Mode One : Normal Air Defence (Stats based on a level 6 Air Defence)
Hitpoints : 1040
Damage per second : 230
Firing Speed : 1 second
Range : 10 tiles
Mode Two : Splash Air Defence (Stats based on a level 6 Air Defence)
Hitpoints : 1040
Damage per second : 200
Firing Speed : 1 second
Range : 8 tiles
That's just my input:cool:
Maxed baloons have 545 hp
Maxed wiz towers does 62.4 damage per shot every 1.3 seconds with one whole tile splash and 7 tiles range
Maxed ADs does 320 damage per shot every second and 10 tiles range
I have seen failed baloon raids just because they got shot by wizard towerS while clumping up REAL tight.
With splash, an AD can pop baloons like... bubbles, decimate a horde of minions from far far away, and turn groups dragons into roasted chickens in a fraction of the time...
We have 4 of them ADs...
Again... Overly OverPowered...
