You wake up, realise you cannot raid enough before you have to leave for work, so now you have to wait til later on to try, you come back from work and realise you've been raided again while at work and lost another 7k so that's you down 12k of DE within 24 hours so you cry yourself to sleep in a depressed hump.

Defense does not make a difference because you got attacked by lightning, not troops.

Tell me the chance of meeting a trophy hunter vs other farmer. That's right it's the same. You may argue you get a free shield and stop getting attacked. But it's just luck, 99% of the people I attack has their th on the edge of the map. I happily avoid it and take the resources. U instantly lose 200k/200k with your base yes? Now you come to my base and my resources is well protected. A serious attacker will give me a shield and never take more than 50k gold in my case, a non serious th hunter will skip. As far as I know my way of farming is stresss free I can log off whenever I want with a peace of mind. You can have fun swiping your screen every 2 min waiting for next set of troops while I log off and using those extra time to touch my gf instead of the phone.
The only reason you guys do not understand where I'm coming from is the same reason why you're desperately trying define inside/outside. To be honest I don't give a shlt, I'll be happy to take the gold you don't want to learn to protect. I am not sure I really give a ♥♥♥♥ about you lightnig my storage. Not only I don't need it I enjoy having another potential farmer to be on my revenge list. If I really want to camp you I'm gonna set alarm clock to revenge you.
