I think walls are so overpriced. 30K gold for ONE small segment of lvl 5 wall is just too expensive for th5/6 when you are supposed to be able to get them. I believe it is the same with other th lvls. I am upgrading to th7 and still have mainly lvl4 walls because they are just too expensive. Either that or increase collector production.

I came in here thinking you were talking about lvl 9 walls for 1 mil per wall, or lvl 10 walls for 3 mill each, but you're talking about lvl 5 gold walls?!?!

Walls are a GRIND. They help separate the noobs from serious players, and they cost a lot to reward those who have the patience and dedication to build high level walls.
Some reward they don't make that much of a difference (Hogs jump over them for example)Quote:

If you feel that way, then I think you should stay with gold or pink walls. Then watch the replays from people who attack you up in high gold and crystal league :D When they steamroll your base with nothing more than a cheap lvl 6 giant + barch army, I bet you'll feel differently about walls.Quote:

The collectors don't collect fast enough I think that is the problem. Seriously 2200 per HOUR when you have to pay 30K for one wall segment and 3100 per hour for lvl 11 when 1 wall segment costs several mil per segment at the higher levels even when you times that by 6 it is still 18,600 which means it would take 53-54 hours over 2 DAYS. I suppose that is what loot is for but it would still take around 1 day of constant raiding and collecting to get 1 mil to upgrade ONE wall segment (Maybe not even one for lvl 10 or 11)Quote:

That is not true lvl3 out of SIX wall breakers don't 1 blast destroy lvl 5 walls. Besides I am in silver 2 but aspire to be in gold or crystal at some point and will probably have lvl7 walls weather I like it or not by then (Definitely not 5)Quote:

Look at the poll results and read the replies. It is very common for people to raid 3-6 million gold per day. Some hardcore players raid over 10 million per day (with boosting barracks/spells).

I had a few archer towers like 1 level under max, both max storages .. level 5 bk (max for seven) etc.. I hope you get the idea where I am going with this. I upgraded town hall a bit early because I had no real ways o spending elixir anymore.
first 10 minutes of town hall eight I had 50 new walls to level four (fingers hurt from all the tapping so i stopped) by the second day all 50 those walls was level seven and a few level eights (these are 500000) each
So no, learn to hit next and keep your workers busy, gold wall prices are nothing.
Keep in mind I am a newish player, noted in sig. (I might of started a bit late in jan, no idea ad I was like town hall seven for a month I think)
Also as my sig states even as an early town hall eight I walk over gold walled people, in fact i almost three stared a town hall ten base with gold walls (99% =.= I needed 2 more seconds of play just now for clan wars)

You can train your next force while you do that so if you hit next for 40 mins or w/e you can attack again right away. max your barracks, really helps for that
lol, i started this game on mid feb and i maxed out my townhall 7 in a month if u dont belive look at my account, well except my king because dark elixer are hard to get as a townhall 7. plus having great lvl 7 walls only attracts high townhall eights and 9 so they cant take much loot. i have never lost a single star to a townhall 7 since i maxed my defense out. all you need to do is patience and a good troop combo

Anyways ya work on barracks and camps when you can so you can train more as you look for bases. 30000 should not be a lot when you find 200000 per attack, I really dont see the big deal over trophies till after you have your stuff leveled.
