My goal of making CHAMP as a th9 has been completed!!

My clan is having a trophy push and i was determined to make champ as a th9. After watching all of WitelightingHWD videos i gained the knowledge in order to do so. I started out casually pushing from crystal 3 to crystal 2 while farming with BAM. Hogs got me halfway through master 3, which is when i switched to the Balloonian tactic. I was able to easily get 10 trophies a raid with 50% halfway to master 1. The climb from 2900-3000 was a huge pain as with 3000-3100. 3100-3200 did not seem as hard as 3000-3100 but pretty much every raid is a 9 trophies for a three star and -32 for a loss. It took about 15-20 mins to find a base worth raiding for 4-11 trophies (with a one star). I did find 3 th snipes in the 3100 range which helped a lot (plus some free bonus loot). I was able to get from crystal 3 to champion in 5 days, with 4 of them being hardcore raiding sessions. I boosted my spell factory always, and heroes and barracks only when needed. If i could give advice to any other th9 who wants to make champ it is this: You need time to do it. Once you get the 50% balloonian strategy down it really comes to being online for 6 hours at a time and getting the most raids as you can without loosing. Nice i will be doing this soon, one question you say you boosted barracks sometimes, did you raid with little/no spells as they take so long to cook even when boosted or did you wait for the 45min for 4spells?

Congrats! My clanmate, antz, has just done the same! He attack a maxed base for 50% for 10 trophies his last raid and everybody was so excited for him! He has been trying for the past month and finally hit it. Antz is so happy and celebrated by logging off to get 3 starred for -1. It is such a great accomplishment and happy for you. :o

Well done! I like the way you did it (since I did it the same way! LoL)... Hogs allows you to get to master in no time if you have the time to raid. Once the multi infernos start popping up on almost every next i made the switch to loonions also.

Congrats! I got extremely bored just before 3000 as I didn't want to be online for 6 hours at a time and nexting for possible bases to 50% was insane. Good job for having the patience as I sure don't!

Sometimes I would not use any spells at all and this is when i boosted one barracks so my troops can be ready faster. And not every raid you would use all spells and thats troops take 40 mins to make so boosts help me to raid faster. Hopes that answere your question. And thanks everyone

I had 1 question for you? How long on estimate did it take. As in how many days and hours per day average?
I am planning on doing the Champion Push once my loonians and minions get to a decent level, which should be soon.

I had one day of being on for 12 hours. Once u hit master 1 u get raided as soon as you log off so after the 6 hours you get booted off and raided. So around 4 days of one day being 12 hours and the rest 6 hour raiding session. So to answer your question. It can take as little as 4 days if you can be on for long amounts of time.

2900-3100 i lost a fair amount of attacks which is really frustrating. 3100+ i never lots. I learned to be patient with finding a raid. And making sure you bring all spells :p

GJ i hit champ as well same strat except im th 10 - and did it withing 9 hrs all boosting and was around 2900 (m1 farming) when i began my push :D

Congrats, wonderful achievement man. I feel TH9 achieving champ is very very significant as we get owned in def almost 100% of the time and no chance of even getting a lucky win so we must work our ♥♥♥♥ off even harder than usual.
