I Don't Get It
I seriously don't get why people get so mad about Supercell because they think that all Supercell wants is money. First of all...Supercell is a company. WHAT COMPANY DOESN'T WANT MONEY?! Have you even heard of one company who said that they didn't want money? You can't blame them; they make awesome games and that's why people invest in them.

Don't get the problem i play freemium games as you know what your buying for before u pay simple if it where 99cents I'd be saying clash of what and also if it were a 99cent game de wouldn't even exist

Businesses have one goal: to make money. That's it. This model clearly works for them and almost every other RTS out there, so they have no reason to change it. Sure, a different method could be better for the game, but every company out there cares much more about profits than about the integrity of their product (unless increasing/decreasing it has an effect on profits). That's just the way it is.

Clash of Clans is one of the few freemium games where you can access everything w/o spending a single cent. Yes they make more money this way, however that means they can hire more developers to bring us more content. This also keeps the game relevant.

I don't mind spending money on SC.
I spend far less on an evening of Clash than I would spend going to the movies, to a bar or to a club :)

Isn't the main currency in this game time? If you could have everything instantly, wouldn't the game be pointless? I think most fun would be taken away if the point of this game would be to farm and then to gain trophies. You would quit playing it after a few months because there is nothing new and you would become bored. That's exactly what happens to "normal" PC/xbox/PS/etc games. And that is why I think the game is so popular, because there is so much new stuff to discover, even after you've played 6 months. If the factor time would be taken away, it would still be a pretty cool game, but not as awesome as it is right now.

Tbh i wouldnt feel the same sence of acomplishment if upgrades were instant. The way it is now seems unfair but is imo the best way it could be

Clash of Clans is perfect as it is now. Supercell raking in the money and we customers are enjoying this wonderful game. And about gems, it's simple, if you can't afford it, don't buy it. The game is completely playable without gems and you could max your base without them.

If SC were truly greedy they would include elements in the game that give bigger advantage to people who spend more real money or make the game basicly unplayable after a point unless you spend real money. At the end of the day you can get anything in CoC without spending any real money. It comes down to time. What I have gotten in a year can be gotten in a day by spending real money. Well except the achievements naturally.

So.... Everyone has a maxed out TH10 in a day... That's cool...
No this is a terrible thread, if you want to help the developpers into making new cool updates then donate some little money like 20$ to have a new builder and make one building.
The game is free because it attracts huge amount of players! I have paid 20$ and i don't feel like the time is too long.
