Gem Boxes

So I know there are these new gem boxes which spawn randomly so I have 2 questions
1.say I don't collect my gems boxes will they disappear?
2.if I don't collect them will more spawn in or can you only have 1 in your village at a time?

Are the gem boxes a permement thing in clash of clans or just a limited time thing?

They are not limited on time.
It is not like a 2-month event, it is permanent.
